 Demography
The total population of the urban area is 120400 as per the census data of 2021. It shows a 15%
cumulative growth in population in decades. Density of population in this urban area is 1505
per sqkm. As per the census 2011 this urban area falls under a Class I City. If the exponential
growth rate of 15% continues, in 2181 this urban area will turn into a Metro city, crossing one
million population. As it is an urban area, it is assumed that more than 75% of the male working
age group is involved in non-agricultural activity.

 Landuse
This urban area covers 80 sqkm areas. In the land use table given below of 2001 it is seen that
only 8% area is under open area and a large area is falling in residential use. However, the open
area is even reduced to 2% in 2021. Land use growth occurred mainly in residential area,
commercial area and public and semi public areas. In some more years the open area will be
even less because followed by the growth of residential area, commercial area and public and
semi public areas, the other sectors need to grow too. And following the exponential growth of
the city, an urban agglomeration is soon to happen expending the city boundary.

 Transportation

The survey is done on two different road of the urban area, one named road A and the other is
named road B.  Vehicles on roads were counted in these streets in a full day (8 hours). The data
