3  Go Tell It On The Mountain

4  Go tell it on the mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that
Jesus Christ is born.

5  While shepherds kept their watching o’er silent flocks by night,

6  Behold, throughout the heavens, there shone a holy light.

7  Go tell it on the mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that
Jesus Christ is born.

8  The shepherds feared and trembled when, lo! Above the earth

9  Rang out the angel chorus that hailed our Savior’s birth.

10  Go tell it on the mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that
Jesus Christ is born.

11  Down in a lowly manger the humble Christ was born

12  And God sent us salvation that blessed Christmas morn

13  Go tell it on the mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that
Jesus Christ is born.

14  Go tell it on the mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that
Jesus Christ is born.

18  Mary’s Boy Child

19  Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, Was born on Christmas Day. And man will live for
evermore, Because of Christmas Day.

20  Long time ago in Bethlehem, So the Holy Bible said, Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, Was
born on Christmas Day.

21  Hark, now hear the angels sing, A king was born today, And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.

22  Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, Was born on Christmas Day.

23  While shepherds watch their flocks by night, They see a bright new shining star,

24  They hear a choir sing a song, The music seemed to come from afar.

25  Hark, now hear the angels sing, A king was born today, And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.

26  Oh a moment still worth was a glow, All the bells rang out there were tears of joy and
laughter,

27  People shouted “Let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace.”

28  Now Joseph and his wife, Mary, Came to Bethlehem that night,

29  They found no place to bear her child, Not a single room was in sight.

30  And then they found a little nook in a stable all forlorn, And in a manger cold and dark,
Mary’s little boy was born.

31  Hark, now hear the angels sing, A king was born today, And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.

32  Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, Was born on Christmas Day.

33  Oh a moment still worth was a glow, All the bells rang out there were tears of joy and
laughter,

34  People shouted “Let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace.”

38  Scripture Isaiah 9: 6-7 Scripture Taken from the Holy Bible Today’s New International
Version

39  Isaiah 9: 6-7 The Birth of Jesus 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the
government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty
God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace
there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and
upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the
LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

40  Luke 2: 1-7 The Birth of Jesus Luke 2: 1-7 The Birth of Jesus 5He went there to register
with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6While they
were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a
son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest
room available for them.

42  Offering We Wish You A Merry Christmas

43  Luke 1: 26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold 29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and
wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, “Do not be
afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will conceive and give birth to a son, and
you are to call him Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The
Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of
Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since
I am a virgin?”

44  Luke 1: 26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold 35The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will
come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be
born will be called b the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in
her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37For no
word from God will ever fail.” 38“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me
according to your word.” Then the angel left her.
45  Prayer for Christmas Almighty God, you made this holy night shine with the brightness
of the true Light. Grant that here on earth we may walk in the light of Jesus’ presence and in
the last day wake to the brightness of his glory; through your only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

46  The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And
forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into
temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for
ever and ever. Amen
