The term “fitness” refers to the ability

 to withstand stress
 to perform daily tasks vigorously,
 to enjoy leisure time activities and
 to effectively meet emergency
demands.

Fitness is also the state of a body that can


work at its best.
Ideas:
1. Many adults and many children lead a
relatively
sedentary lifestyle.
2. Excessive inactivity is detrimental to
our health and it can contribute to a lot
of preventable causes of death.
3. Lack of exercise causes muscle
atrophy and increases susceptibility to
physical injury.
4. Physically fit people can work or play
harder and with less effort than people who
are not fit.
Benefits:
