 Starting the Game

Start the game by double-clicking the shortcut on your desktop, or by selecting "Togainu no Chi" from
the Start Menu.

Uninstalling the Game

To uninstall Togainu no Chi, use the Programs and Features menu located in the Control panel, or select
"Uninstall Togainu no Chi" from the Start menu and follow the instructions.

※Deleting the game by any other means may result in an incomplete uninstallation.

If the game does not run, or exhibits poor performance:

Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements listed above.

Some antivirus software may interfere with the installation or running of the game.

If you experience difficulties, temporarily deactivate your antivirus software during the installation
process, or whitelist the Togainu no Chi installer and game .exe within your antivirus software settings.

※The makers of this game take no responsibility for issues caused by deactivating antivirus software.

Ensure that the correct version of DirectX is properly installed.

The Togainu no Chi installer will automatically attempt to install DirectX 9.0c. If the installation does not
complete properly, you may need to install DirectX 9.0c manually.

Ensure that your graphics card and chipset drivers are up to date.

Consult the manufacturer's homepage for the latest drivers.

※The makers of this game take no responsibility for issues caused by updating drivers.

Title Screen

START Start the game from the beginning.

LOAD Open Save/Load Menu.

CONFIG Open Config Menu.

EXTRA Open Extra Contents Menu.

*Not included in the demo.

EXIT Quit Game.

※Extra Contents Menu will unlock after meeting certain conditions in-game.

Right-click or press M to open the main menu.

Close（M） Close the menu screen.

Hide Text（Space） Hide the text window.

Auto Play（A） Toggle auto play.

Skip（Ctrl） Toggle skip.

Fast Skip（N） Toggle fast skip.

Backlog（B） Open Backlog.

Open Save/ Load Menu（D） Open Save/Load Menu.

Quick Load（L） Load the most recent quick save.

Toggle Fullscreen（F） Toggle fullscreen mode.

Save/Load Menu

Click on an empty slot to create a new save. This menu allows you to save, load, and manage saves.
You can store up to 120 save files.

This menu allows you to adjust configuration settings.

BASIC SETTINGS

Restore default settings Click to restore default settings.

Enable movie skip When enabled, click or press Enter to skip movies.

 S T ORY

In a ruined world, seeds of new chaos.

In the years following a third world war, a devastated Japan is divided between two rival factions with no
hope for reconstruction in sight. Caught between East and West, Tokyo has degenerated into a brutal,
crime-ridden wasteland.

Like many of those reaching adulthood in this dark new world, a young man named Akira seeks some
kind of meaning in the violent street fighting contest Bl@ster. But even as he rises up the rankings, he
feels almost nothing. Is this all there is?

In Toshima, a district of Tokyo ruled by the mysterious syndicate Vischio, the blood sport Igra makes
Bl@ster look like child s play. Competitors have the chance to win control of a drug empire worth more
than in their wildest dreams, but losing a bout means losing your life.

When Akira is arrested for a crime he didn t commit, a strange woman appears with an even stranger
offer: he can regain his freedom if he fights his way to the top of Igra and destroys Vischio from within.

What dangers and revelations await Akira on Toshima s pitiless streets? Is he strong enough to survive
them?

Akira / CV : Sakiware Spoon
The Bl@ster champion for Mikasa District, also known as Area Ray. Akira
grew up in an orphanage before being assigned to a foster family, then
struck out on his own as early as he could. Framed for murder, he joins
Igra so he can defeat the elusive Il Re, leader of Vischio, and clear his
name. Will he find what he needs in Toshima?

You look like an imbecile.”
Shiki / CV : Midorikawa Hikaru
A man feared throughout Toshima as the strongest of Igra's fighters.
A consummate narcissist and perfectionist, he cares only about proving
his superiority, and will cut down anyone who gets in his way. He sees
strength as the greatest virtue, and loathes those who fight for pleasure
alone.

“Let's go home together.

No matter what.”
Keisuke / CV : Nanimusha
Keisuke and Akira grew up together in the orphanage and have
remained close ‒ as close as Akira ever gets to anyone, at least.
Employed at a factory, Keisuke is a diligent worker who tries his
best but has always struggled. He greatly admires Akira, seeing
Akira as embodying everything he lacks. When Akira is sent to
Toshima, Keisuke follows, hoping to help.

 “Hiya! I'm Rin. What about you guys?”

Rin / CV : Kiryuuin Hayato

A surprisingly light-hearted Igra participant who shows Akira the
ropes. His frivolous manner and delicate features hide unexpected
strength and icy determination. He likes to take photographs.

“Hey, don't worry.

Just leave everything to me.”

Motomi / CV : Ichijou Kazuya

A rare Toshima resident who doesn t participate in Igra, instead
acting as an information broker. Though he appears easy-going,
it s actually quite hard to get a handle on his real agenda. Still, he
does seem sincere about wanting to help, and despite his quirks
he gives good advice.

“May fortune favor you in battle.”

Arbitro / CV : Hishi Masaru

The de facto boss of Vischio and the man responsible for Igra. Arrogant
and disdainful of everyone around him, he is never seen without his garish
mask. Very easy to upset.

Kiriwar / CV : Fuji Bakuhatsu

One of the Executioners, the brutal warriors who enforce the rules of Igra.
Wields an iron pipe, and is never seen without a lazy smile on his face.

“Sing pretty for me, will ya?

You don't want me to get bored.”
Gunji / CV : Sugisaki Kazuya
Kiriwar's partner, a hedonist who is ruled by his whims. He wields a custom
pair of clawed knuckles.

“The choice is yours.”

Emma / CV : Okuda Kaori
The mysterious woman who offers Akira a way out of his murder
sentence. She never lets her cool mask slip.

Gwen / CV : Namerikawa Kikutarou
Emma's partner. A stern-faced man who says little and is completely
dedicated to his job.

“I'm the one who's gonna kill Il Re.

I won't let anyone get in my way.”
Takeru / CV : Koike Takezou
An Igra fighter desperate to win at any cost. His determination
makes him one of Akira's most dangerous opponents.

A bewildering figure whose path intersects Akira s . His mild manner and
appearance seem at odds with Toshima s grim environment. Is he an
enemy or an ally?

 TROUBLESHOOTING

This section contains general solutions for common issues. For additional support,

The game crashes or freezes during startup:

◆If your hard disk is nearly full, Windows may become unstable. Ensure that you have sufficient hard disk space.

◆Beta drivers and/or unsupported OS versions may cause the game to crash or freeze.

◆Ensure that all hardware is connected properly and that other applications are functioning as intended.

◆This game was tested on factory standard system configurations. Nonstandard configurations and/or nonofficial
software may cause problems. Please check your installed hardware and software for possible problems or
conflicts.

◆Review your system settings and consult Windows support for system assistance.

The game runs poorly:

◆Other applications may be draining system resources. Shut down other applications before playing.

◆Check the system tray for software that may be draining system resources.

There's no sound:

◆Ensure that your speakers are on and that the volume is turned up. Also check the Windows volume control to
ensure that sound is on.

◆Check the in-game volume settings via the config menu.
