THE PLACEMENT CELL

Dyal Singh College
The Placement Cell has been an integral part for the development for the students of our
college. This year, we have seen a major growth in the recruitment sphere. Our internship
division has seen a massive expansion as well.

Our regular recruiters include KPMG INDIA,EY INDIA,Deloitte,NIIT Ltd,KEN RESEARCH,

S&P Global,The Oberoi Group,Wipro,PWC,Tresvista,GERC,Grant Thornton,Apeiron,HDFC
Bank,ICICI Prudential,Dyson,Jaro Education, Genpact etc. This is all owing to the endless
efforts put in by our Hon'ble Principal Dr. I.S. Bakshi, our coordinator Dr. Neetu Bhattacharya
and the entire Placement Cell team.

We also thank the students of Dyal Singh College who have shown such keen interest in the
recruitment and internship drives. The Placement Cell has and always work endlessly for the
development of our students and providing them with a better future.

In the beginning of the session, the Placement Cell held its annual orientation
programme with the aim of spreading knowledge about the cell’s work to the
new batch of students and recruiting new members to the team for the
session that lies ahead.
GROOMING SESSIONS are an imperative advance of The Placement Cell which counsel
students on far reaching the indispensable guidance to adept recruitments. The
Grooming Sessions encompass all enticing nitty-gritties from the basics of Group
Discussion to Attire to be worn during the interviews.
Alongside providing Recruitment and Internship opportunities to students, The Placement
Cell has continued its initiative, ‘The Bulletin’. It seeks to elevate and polish the students’
knowledge about the current affairs and latest happenings around the globe. It has received
a great response from the students and The Placement Cell plans to upgrade the bulletin this
year with new sections.
THE PLACEMENT DOCKET is also an initiative of The Placement Cell which contains all the
necessary information to crack recruitments and internships. It is a file which contains 10
items like “questions asked in job interviews and their answers”, “case studies”, “excel and
word cheat sheets” etc.
The growth of the cell, accredited to the sheer dedication and utmost
professionalism of it's members can be seen over the years. We embark on the
objective to provide 100% placement for the students through dedication and hard
work forever.
