LABORATORY EXERCISE NO. 1
THE HUMAN ORGANISM

Name: Section Date Submitted: 2021

I. INTRODUCTION
The human body consists of different organs that work together to carry out human
activities and sustain life. An understanding of its anatomy and physiology is important to
have an understanding of how it carr out the important processes needed for survival
and reproduction.

II. GIVE THE 6 STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT MAKEUP AN

ORGANISM. BRIEFLY DESCRIBE EACH.
_First, the chemical level it is the smallest level consists of atoms, chemical bonds, and
molecules. Second, the cellular level it is the basic characteristic of life. Third, the tissue
level it is a group of cells with similar structure and function. Fourth, the organs consist of
two or more tissue that performs more than one function in the human body. Fifth, the
organ system level comprised of organs that functions together to perform and achieve
the needs of the human body. Lastly, the sixth is the organism level is made up of all of the
previous levels working together to perform the right function of the human body.

III. ANATOMY OF THE HUMAN BODY

Below is an illustration of the major organs of the human body. Identify each part with an
arrow and label with the corresponding number for each part.
