Project: Cultivation of five fruits for income-generating orchard mode

In the proposed project, the small area orchard mode of cultivation is

aimed to supply a variety of unique fruits with unmatched delicacies.
Here, 54 different fruit barrier plants with different tastes and
attractions are planted for incumbents who have small land also.

Unit land area 1 Bigha or 66 decimals or 28750 square feet or land of

about120X236 feet apart.
Thai Fruit-bearing plants of 54 different species are allocated in this land
area in the following manner:

1. In the first row of beginning 2 Thai Coconut Plants are to be planted

in two sides keeping 3 feet from the project area (width 236 feet and
rows are fitted according to width). In between 2 coconut trees/8
date plants are accommodated 15 feet apart.
2. In the next row,( 8 feet apart from the first row) 2 Acai Berry pants
are to be planted on two sides keeping 3 Pate from the project area.
Then row rises to 10 feet apart. 5 avocado plans, 11 apple fruit
plants, and six apricot plants replaced alternatively.
3. In the third row 8 feet apart from the second above 2 custard apple
plants are planted to be on two sides of row 3 feet apart from the
project area. Width in between 10 feet apart 5 Cherry Plants,5
Carambola plants, 6 plum and six dewberry plants are planted side
by side.
4. In the fourth row 10 feet apart from the third row and fourth row
above distributed with rice planted to be designed with the dragon
fruit plants and for that cement pillars of 7 feet height are erected 10
feet apart.With 24+24 = 48 cement pillars in both rows (row-wise
pillars are to be erected keeping 3 feet distance from the side ). For
48 pillars per pillar four Dragon Fruit saplings, i.e 192 Dragon Fruit
plants are to be planted. For the 4th and 5th row in-between places
of Dragon fruit pillars, 11 banana fruits and 12 red Banana fruit
plants are placed 10 feet apart in between in alternate manner.
5. Again, in the sixth-row plants are to be placed 8 feet from the fifth
row and in between the 5th and 6th row, one inter-cropping row of
papaya is to be placed 10 feet apart of a total of 23 plants. In the six
row keeping gap of 3 feet from both sides in 230 feet width planting
of 24 plants of 10 feet gap wise is made with 6 fruits, 6 figs, Feijoada
and 6 Grape fruits in consecutive manner.
6. After that,in the 7th row ,7 feet apart from the 6th row,but this row
meant for grapes and with y trellis scheme Keeping 3 feet side gap
for both sides 24 grapes saplings are planted to plant it 10 feet apart
and why trailer structure is to be 20 feet gap and fitted to 12
structures in 236 feet with a vice picture of y trellis is attached in the
annexture.
7. Eight row will be for kiwi fruits as this delicate fruit again has to be
rested upon y trellis system. Apart from 7 through for 7 feet distance
and 24 saplings of kiwi keeping 3 feet for two side gap and 10 feet
apart designed in y type trellis (picture in the annexure) are to be
planted.
8. 9 throw again 8 feet apart from previous Pro with three feet gap
both sides for the planting of total 24 plants constituting 6
gooseberries, 6 guavas, 6 jujubes and 6 fruits in a consecutive
manner are to be planted.
9. 10th row again like the previous row as same manner and 24 fruit
plants,constituting 6 jack fruits ,6 mangoes , 6 lychee or longan fruit
and 6 in consecutively.
10. 11th row again like the previous row keeping 8 feet distance from the
10th row and planting is done 3 feet side gap from end
accommodating 24 plants in the 11th row,plants are 6 mulberry, 6
mangosteen, 6 monk fruit and 6 nectarine in consecutive manner.
11. Next 12th row planted in the same fashion with 8 feet from the
previous row and 3 feet side gap in both side end .Again like the
previous row design 4 types of fruits are planted in consecutive
manner as follows - 6 limes,6 monkey fruits ,6 oranges and 6 olive
plants.
12. 13th row again 10 feet apart from the previous row and keeping 3
feet distance both side 4 types of Thai fruits are planted with 10 feet
apart as 6 pears, 6 persimmon,6 peach and 6 pomegranate in
consecutive planting.
13. In between 12th and 13th row to 5 feet distance from both row
middle wise a mulch row of 3 feet is planted to accommodate
 pineapple plant roots on 236 feet width of the row,75 pineapple
saplings /crowns are to be planted almost 3 feet apart.
14. After 13th next 14th row again 10 feet apart from the previous row
planting is designed to keep 3 feet gap in both side with following 24
Thai Fruits are planted 10 feet apart as - 4 quince, 4 sour sop, 4
salak ,4 star apples,4 tangerine and 4 white mulberry. In between 13
and 14 th row in middle 3 feet mulched bed as wherewith was made
and 115 strawberry plants/saplings are planted around 2 feet
grapevine.

15. Last or 15 th row 10 feet apart from the 14 th row designed keeping
7 feet gap sideways and following 24Thai fruits are to be planted 10
feet apart as follows- 8 Tamarind,8 Apricot Cherries and 8 Wood
Apples.

In between 14th and 15th row in middle of two rows, Thai variety
tomatoes and vanilla beans are planted as 50 tomatoes and 50 vanilla
beans and 2.2 feet apart as row wise.
