Hello and greetings to my freinds and madam Dayang Hartijah, my name is For

today’s presentation, my team will be discussing about EMPLOYMENT OF


DISABILITY EMPLOYEES.

For my part I will start my presentation by giving you an overview about the problem
that happening to the DISABILITY EMPLOYEES at the workplace.

Before I start my presentation I would like to ask a question, .what do you think about
disability? And Who are people with disability?

For my own understanding Disability is a difficulity in functioning as experienced by


an individual with a health condition in interaction that can limits his movement
senses or their daily activities.

And to answer the second question, the term disabled is applied to all persons with
disabilities including those with long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory
impairments that, in interaction with various attitude and environmental barriers,
impede and equal effective participation in society with others.

This is the problem that happening to the disable people. Because of their disability,
the disable person always being underestimated and being discriminated by their
employer and their Colleagues at the workplace. To support the statement on the
problems that I mentioned earlier we can refer to the infographic that our team just
created. First the employer Fail To Accommodate Proper Working enviroment. For
example, Employer fails to make reasonable adjustments in the workplace to
accommodate their disability employees. Without reasonable adjustments the disabled
employees find it hard to do their job.
Second, The Employer Fire their employees dues to their disabilitites. For example
the employer fire their employee for not having a good job performance without
investigating what they need to do to help employees with disability. Because of this
action the disable employees will not have a confident in their self when they doing a
good job because they feel unappreciated and even they work hard it still not enough.
And for the last discrimination is about their unempathetic and disrespectful
Collegues. For example, Their colleagues being rude without thinking about their
feeling. This disrespectful action from their colleagues will cause the employees with
disabilities have no motivition towards their work as they feel out of place.

In addition, To support about my point about the discrimination for people with
disability, we can see about the unemployement rate for the for the people with
disabiliy.
