What Are Demographics?

Demographic analysis is the study of a population based on factors such as age,

race, and sex. Demographic data refers to socioeconomic information expressed
statistically including employment, education, income, marriage rates, birth and death
rates, and more.

The term 'workforce change' can be used to define a variety of scenarios,

including the need for staffing reductions, and restructures - which may but do not
always result in redundancies.

The need to consider workforce change can arise from a variety of reasons,
including organisational requirements, declining resources, changes in the way
the organisation operates and changes in legislation or organisation practices.
Changing demographics have a direct impact on business models and strategies.
