Hello guys! It's your boy D.W.

G popularly known as Dworld'sG with yet another episode where we drill

and spill issues affecting our country especially we the youth.

Today we shall be drilling an issue which has affect every Nigerian youth directly or indirectly which is
UNEMPLOYMENT. yes, You heard me, Unemployment

Some of you can relate while others will be like, Yo D! How dose this affect me when am doing 5 to 6
figures per month?... Well hold your horses as we dissect the topic

Unemployment as we know it is a situation when a person who is actively searching for employment is
unable to find work. Mind you it's not just for graduates only but as well as creative. Infact Creatives
suffer the most when it comes to govt empowerment program as they are centered on majorly
graduates or the agriculture sector excluding creative. Even the empowerment program is Audio as we
only hear but don't see or have you seen any that has received? If yes, trust me they are not up to 10%,
why an I exaggerating it, not up to 2% of those that apply. That's if they are not ghost applicant as our
govt made provision for them, what a spirit caring govt.

An unexplored aspect of Unemployment people don't talk much about and is prominent in Nigeria is
UNDEREMPLOYMENT which is being employ for a job below you qualifications for some people its the
salary structure of the coy is way below despite looking fly in your office, but deep down we know your
pocket is not in agreement.

You might say "well at least they are employed and get something periodical" true, but the flip side to it
is, the effects of underemployment are similar to those of unemployment. Both cause higher poverty
levels. Without adequate income, one go to office to be paid less and the other beg or haven't someone
approached you by the road side for urgent 50 naira or more for just looking good? If they haven't then
you basically say throughout in your car outside your home, some even beg when you lower your glass
and AC touch them.

To better understand how deep this is let get to hear what an expert Doyin Salami, chairman of the
Presidential Economic Advisory Council (PEAC) has to say

Nigeria's unemployment rate is projected to increase to 40 percent by the end of 2021.

Interesting right? but wait we know what the government can do when it comes to such fact that dosn't
favour them. In that case let hear what a foreign body has to say

Youth Unemployment Rate in Nigeria is expected to be 55.00 percent by the end of this quarter,
according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. In the long-term, the
Nigeria Youth Unemployment Rate is projected to trend around 53.00 percent in 2022 and 51.00
percent in 2023, according to our econometric models.

Did we notice the percentage keep reducing as years increase which is awkward because with Nigeria
the law of gravity doesn't exist for stuff like this as what goes up almost never comes down. Abi no be
so???
It might shock you to know that More than 60% of Nigeria youth are under 25 years of age, that's more
than half of the population and the painful thing to this is the govt say they care but their actions says
otherwise especially for Creatives who struggle through school, not all are cut out for the four walls of
the contemporary lecture halls. They mostly come alive in there creative space like the dancers you see
outside at the convocation ground or theatre after lecture sometimes late in the night enduring those
annoying insects while practicing. No doubt watching their uniform dance makes one sometimes ask
God for instance dance abilities. How about the musicians, instrumentalists who mostly during
weekdays or a cool evening just to freestyle and gradually crowd create a circle around them as they
vibrate at a frequency you wonder how do they produce such sound without studio effects.

What of young vibrant youth suffering for dyslexia, the English big abi, let me melt it for you. It means
those who have difficulty to write and read, yes o, they dey this life so no think say na cruise.
#####################################################################################
#######how those people want to survive for this country? I leave you to answer that question.

These guys endure school, thanks to some control C and V lecturers who are tyrants, and are out in the
labour market struggling with pressure from peers, family and society to secure job not just any job but
one that feel there vibe as they are less considered when it comes to employment opportunities, the
only change they might have to express themselves are throughout once a while competitions organised
by big brands which isn't supposed to be so because the govt is supposed to make provision for all this
by explore all available opportunities to provide employments be it online or offline, or you think
employment is just for office job?

Most dylexia are creative who thrive in the art industry, meaning some uses not all are fraudsters, the
govt could create hub at strategic locations to help them but no they are busy profiling them as
criminals and the real criminals are escorted with convoys of security vehicles.

If you still wonder and say, D you still haven't answer my questions on how it affect me, well here's your
answer do you know Unemployment has a direct correlation with political violence and crime that's why
you watch your back when you navigate through some street or watch you back when it's late at night
or for some pay others to keep you secured
