Goodbye Millennials and Welcome Generation Z!Who is Generation Z?

Generation Z is the next generation after the millennial generation.This generation is labeled as the
generation with minimal boundaries.According to Pew Research, the definition of Generation Z is people
born after 1997 who grew up with technology, the internet, and social media. Born and developed in the
era of digital technology.Generation Z is a technology addict and tends to be anti-social. The technology
that accompanies the growth and development of Generation Z affects their personality. Gen Z
characters are more diverse, global in nature, and have an influence on the culture and attitudes of most
people. Generation Z has characters such as: technology experts, likes to communicate, likes new things,
solves problems on their own, loves freedom, and has big ambitions for success.

One thing that stands out, Gen Z is able to take advantage of technological changes in various aspects
of their lives. The technology they use is as natural as they breathe.It's not always that Gen Z's closeness
to technology has an advantage.

Currently the world is facing a disruptive phenomenon, a situation where many unseen and
unconscious innovations emerge.The changes are very fast, fundamentally by ruffling the patterns of the
old order to create a new order.

What is gen z? some people may understand about genz and some people don't understand at all, so on
this occasion I will bring you to talk about gen z in the disruptive era (competitive) so...The group of
people who belong to this generation are those born in 1995 to 2010. So if you were born in that time
span then you also belong to generation Z

Ladies and gentlemen

The first generation is inseparable from gadgets and always refreshes/scrolls news feeds on social
media. to the point that they skip meals and sleep in order to maintain their existence on social media.
because in this era of disruption there is a lot of news and various interesting things on social media,
such as movies, the latest news shows, and media advertisements that are easily accessible and updated
faster than mass media.

Both Gen z grew up in a difficult economic era, where housing and transportation are not affordable,
but they are used to using technology. For example, by utilizing gadgets such as applications that
connect users who want to use motorbike services with the nearest driver (online motorcycle taxis) so
that they will meet possibilities. This is very familiar with Gen Z's daily life, they go everywhere without
their own vehicle. Therefore, the disruptive effects of the daily life of Gen Z can be found in Indonesia.
For example, you may find a conflict between basic ojeks and daring ojeks, conventional taxis and daring
taxis.

Third, gen z are accustomed to DIY (do it yourself) they don't need special guidance to get a lot of
knowledge to help them in daily life, such as cooking they don't have to bother to seek guidance from
advanced people, but they can watch cooking tutorials on gadgets if they are interested in repairing
things, even making them able to do it themselves with the help of tutorials on gadgets.

Therefore

The rapid development of digital technology has the final impact of manual work carried out by the
lower middle class. The disruptive effects of digital technology are judged to only benefit certain groups
and leave those who are less fortunate.?
However, there are also new jobs that are formed and become a source of income for those who
previously did not have access to economic activities. Like online transportation, for example, it has
been proven to provide answers to the problems and needs of the community. Here, digital technology
plays an important role in the development of even the smallest economic players.
