The document discusses the Millennial and Post-Millennial generations. Millennials were born between the 1980s and 1990s, while Post-Millennials (Generation Z) were born between the mid-1990s and mid-2000s. These generations have been shaped by new technologies and have different experiences and preferences compared to older generations. For example, Generation Z prefers fast, tech-driven shopping over visiting stores. However, Millennials are often negatively stereotyped as troubled or lazy, which is an overgeneralization as not all Millennials act the same and many just want guidance as they become independent.

Today I would like to deliver a short speech about
understanding the Millennial and Post-Millennial Generation. Some people may ask what exactly are Millennial? Basically, Millennial or Generation Y are group of people born between 1980’s and 90’s. millennials are also sometimes referred to as echo boomers due to a major surge in birth.Post-Millennial or Generation Z are generational group born between the mid 1990’s up to the mid 2000’s. So I consider myself as a Post- Millennial since I was born year 2003. Millennial and Post-Millennial are different from other generations. These two groups sit side by side on the generation ladder, the expansion of the Internet and the leaps that have been made with the digital revolution has seen them exposed to a host of different experiences. Generation Z love tech driven, fast shopping experiences compared to Millennial they usually visit the store. Nowadays the word millennial cause a lot of headaches to our parents and teachers. What comes to there mind that we are tough to manage, self-interested, unfocused and lazy. Also many social issues like teenage pregnancy, drugs and fraternity. That’s why little by little our image is being destroy by stereotype. Please understand that not all millennial wants to cause trouble, not all millennial are all the same. Some just want to learn, be free, and also to take some risks. We don’t want to stay on our comfort zones, we want to be independent .To be independent we need the guidance and advice's of our parents to lead us in the right path.
