Question one

1. Text one is talking about Jakartans trying the new metro subway stations that connected Lebak Bulus
to Hotel Indonesia. The subway ride was free until March 24 th . This free ride was aimed according to PT
MRT Jakarta, to attract over 285,000 passengers.
Text two is about student Julian Ryno and Ma’kenley Burns doing some math questions in their
computers while being assisted by their teacher, Mrs. Heather Dalton. They’ve implemented technology
and video games to help teacher to teach their students. This information was taken from an
Elementary School in Groton, in the state of Connecticut, USA.

2. In text one, a bunch of Subway passangers who enjoyed a free ride inside the new train.

In text two, There are 3 people in the picture. From left to right is Student Julian Ryno, Mrs. Heather
Dalton, and student Ma’kenley.

3. In picture one, some people can be seen sitting, some talking to other people, and some operating
their cell phones. Other than that there are two people still standing, probably still finding their best
place to sit down.

4. Picture one was published on The Jakarta Post website. And the second picture was published on
Associated Press, a news service that headquartered in New York City.

5. The writers of both article want to give the readers some information. Text one is an information
about the Subway free ride in Jakarta, and the second is about American schools starting to implement
technology as a means of study.

2. the right side chart is about how much money earned from selling the ice cream for a week.

3. The bottom is the name of the days. It is important to implement that to make the data more precise.

4. This information maybe useful for ice cream parlor owners, to determine the best way to sell ice
cream based on the time of the week.

5. To inform someone (Possibly an ice cream parlor owner) about his sales of ice cream from possibly
last week, because the data is complete.
