DialogUE
Olive: I’m so freaking excited!
James: Do tell!
Olive: I just ordered my planner for next year!
James: Already? We’re barely into November.
Olive: Yeah, but you’ve got to plan for these things.
James: If you say so.
Olive. I do! You’ve got to pick the model, the color, the design, the
thickness of the paper...
James: Uh huh.
Olive: And then there are the writing materials! Pens, pencils,
markers… Roller ball or felt tip, permanent or erasable… The
possibilities are endless! I’m glad I got a head start.

nEw EXpREssions!
Freaking
Do tell
An informal phrase used to express surprise about something. This
expression does not necessarily ask the speaker to provide more details
but merely expresses one’s astonishment. It expresses surprise or
interest. A synonym of “you don’t say”.
If you say so
A phrase used when you’re not convinced a statement is true or
correct. It means you’ll take the speaker’s word for it but would prefer
verification. It can also mean you don’t believe the person, but won’t
push further.

Head start
It means an advantage given or acquired in any competition, endeavor,
etc., as allowing one or more competitors in a race to start before the
others.
I have experience in the field, so I have a head start on the job offering.
