Differential pressure transmitter

Technical datasheet
Applications
Water & Wastewater - distribution networks, irrigation, sludge/sewage, water treatment, leakage management,
desalination, marine, checking of pumps and water wells
Public utilities - water supply system, sewage systems, wastewater, industrial water, sludge, human waste etc.
Food industry - breweries, dairies
Chemical - chemicals, power stations, oil and gas
Construction - building material slurry, sediment slurry, industrial water, plant engineering offshore, shipbuilding etc.
Hygienic/Sanitary - potable water metering, food & beverages, pharmaceutical, medium and high density fluids, blending,
dosing, batching

Advantages

The DIFP20 pressure transmitter with HART® interface combines maximum precision with easy operation. It is used to measure
the relative and absolute pressures of gases, vapors and liquids. The integrated LCD shows measurements and device data. In the
version with “Ex ia (intrinsically safe)“ explosion protection, the pressure transmitter can be fitted up to zone 0.
The housing and sensors are made from high-quality stainless steel. Various front-flush process connections are available for
applications to meet hygiene requirements, including the EHEDG- certified PEKA connection system. A high-temperature version
capable of withstanding medium temperatures up to 200°C has been specifically designed for application involving hot media
and pipes. It is also possible to connect remote seals for special process engineering aplications. The transmitter is programmable,
making it readily adaptable to a variety of different measurement tasks. A user-friendly setup program is available as an accessory,
for operation via the interfaces. A rotary knob ensures highly convenient and fast local, manual operation.

Features
Stainless steel housing
HART® interface
Easy setup program
0.05 % linearity and turn down only 1:50
Unique design - with rotary knob for ease of operation and EX ia expolosion
protection against gas and dust
LCD display - with bar graph, scaling with a choice of measurement unis, dis-
play of sensor temperature, minimum and maximum pressures, current sensor
functions and more

Process reliability
Parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel (alternatively
with NiMo alloy, or with a Monel, titanium or PTFE coating when used with a
pressure separator). Combined with the front flush system, this offers optimum
resistance to even aggressive media. The measuring instrument has a high degree
of precision with deviation from characteristic line of 0.05 %, and offers excellent
long-term stability of < 0.1 % per year. The version with explosion protection „Ex
ia (intrinsically safe)“ allows the pressure transmitter to be installed up to zone 0.
The high-temperature version guarantees safe application in SIP and CIP systems.

Simple and time-saving

The measuring instrument can be adjusted reliably and easily with a rotary knob on the device or with a convenient setup program.
The device is equipped with both a HART interface and the JUMO interface. The rotary knob is operated from the outside without
having to open the device.

Flexible
The measuring instrument can be fitted in any installation position for optimum readability, configuration, and electrical
installation.
Measurement features can be adapted to all major applications (process pressure, filling level) and ambient conditions using the
adjustable parameters.
