Re: Application for an Administrative Site Plan Review for FTX Arena Interim Painted Roof
Sign

Dear Mr. Kogon:

This letter of intent and accompanying application seeks your approval of the interim painted roof
sign for the FTX arena required under Section 33-106.1(h) of the Miami-Dade County Code. As we have
previously discussed, this sign is an interim solution to provide sponsorship signage while we address
potential amendments to the code to allow for illuminated signage. The County administration has
approved the sign as documented in the attached approval. We have submitted the application as an
Administrative Site Plan Review application without going through pre-application review in accordance
with your instructions.

The current request meets the requirements of Section 33-106.1. Given the impending start of the
basketball season, we would appreciate your formal approval as soon as possible within the 30-day period
established under subsection (h).
