1. Training Need Area: Effective Listening


Objective: To provide knowledge of effective listening techniques with the help of
demonstrations to the employees each month for the year 2022 in order to strengthen
employees’ work relationship and reduce employee grievances.

Methodology: Demonstration

Justification: Effective listening is a skill that requires ample time to develop. In this situation where
supervisors pay less heed to their subordinates and are incautious of its outcome, the demonstration method
would be best suited, as it allows the supervisor as well as the subordinates to understand its value and
impact over individual and organizational performance. Moreover, this method will also keep the audience
engaged, allowing them to absorb all the details, which in future will greatly benefit them.

2. Training Need Area: Communication skills

Objective: To engage employees in different activities quarterly with the aim of enhancing
and refining the communication skills.

Methodology: Roleplay & Discussion

Justification: In order to strengthen the communication skills of the individuals, the role play would be the
ideal method. Role play technique allows the audience or the viewers to grasp the concept being
demonstrated in depth. In addition, it also enables them to observe the impact and bring about changes in
their own behaviors. Role play can be done to show the importance of the communication skills. Next, to
teach and scale up the skills of the employees, discussion would be suitable, as it involves two way

communication, meaning that employees themselves will also be involved in the discussion and have the
opportunity to improve their skills during the training as well.

3. Training Need Area: Conflict resolution


Objective: To explain and elucidate the impact the conflict resolution in the organization
with the help of multiple lectures and discussions taking place every month with the
employees.

Methodology: Lecture & Discussion

Justification: Conflict resolution is a skill that especially supervisors must have. To facilitate them, initially
lecture must be given, to help them understand the importance of such a skill in the organization and
drawbacks of not acquiring or refining this skill. After understanding the basic concept, having its
understanding, the employees should have a chance to discuss and have their queries resolved. This
discussion will not only allow them to communicate effectively with others but also provide them an
opportunity to listen to the opinions of others and respect them, which is the main essence of conflict
resolution.

4. Training Need Area: Effective Feedback

Objective: To conduct training sessions biannually for the purpose of providing insight
about effective feedback system in the company.

Methodology: Case Study

Justification: For this skill, I personally prefer the case study as this method would provide deeper insights
about the importance, its implications and how not having this system impacts the company. The case
study of any company which overcame this training issue will be beneficial to the employees.
Subsequently, the questions relating to the case study can also be discussed, which will leave the
employees with greater understanding of having a strong feedback system.

5. Training Need Area: Employee Motivation

Objective: To engage employees in different activities biannually in an effort to bolster the


motivation level of employees.

Methodology: Role play & Discussion

Justification: Employee motivation requires constant push from the organization and its members. It is a
continuous process for which training is needed. To facilitate employees and to heighten their motivation

levels, role play is an ideal choice. Role play will not only help them understand the impact of motivation
on their personal and professional lives, but also keep them engaged and energized. Any roleplay
consisting of different characters to highlight the importance of motivation can be done or funny ones can
also take place to keep the employees hooked. Also, discussion can be done as it will allow communication
among employees leading to socialization and increased motivation.
