REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

In groups, you are required to find newspaper article involving food poisoning whether
it is in restaurants, food stalls, school cafes and areas related to food premises. Each newspaper
article that is selected should be investigated and discussed according to the following:

1. Introduction
2. Scientific analysis / reading material on microbes / pathogens
3. Characteristics of pathogen hosts found in raw materials
4. Conclusions of microbes involved based on scientific studies on poisoning
cases
5. Suggested measures or actions that need to be taken to prevent recurrence of
cases
6. Effects / consequences if the food poisoning case is not treated
7. Conclusion
