The kind of roles that Industrial and Organisational Psychologists take up is much more specific
than the roles available in the Human Resources space. There’s also a strong research element
involved in terms of understanding in depth the reasons behind behaviours in the workspace. If
someone has a strong background in the form of a Masters degree, it is hugely beneficial for their
career growth. Doing internships is also a good way to expose oneself to the field and gain direct
experience. Their personal summary on LinkedIn is crisp and concise and all the main points
related to their professional trajectory have been clearly highlighted. It provided me with a lot of
insight in terms of building my own LinkedIn profile.
