IV. ESSAY

1. For me I choose the Psychological Theory, because this explains that the
criminal behaviour is cause by how the person thinks or in other words the
perspective of one’s mind. This theory fully convinced me, it states that
“Personality is the major motivational element that drive behaviour within
individuals”, we might say that some criminals got influenced by other criminals
for me it’s not a reason, even let’s say the one you are always with is a criminal
it doesn’t mean you should act one also or get influence by him. If one person
has healthy Psychological thinking he/she won’t get be affected by whom you
are with ways of life. Even we are angry, stress out, depress, thirsty of revenge
and etc., we necessarily will not act harshly if, our mindset is clear and our
Psychological thinking is healthy and well perceptive. That’s why I fully chose
Psychological Theory as the main theory what made me fully believed, and
made a clear and comprehensive explanation.

2. What is my biology? As my parent combined their genes and made my DNA or

my identity, I became a human male and living a life as a normal person. A
happy person living my dreams and the captain of my own boat, a man living for
almost 19 years in the world and just flowing with the current of life.

3. For me this means that they are referring that “Criminal Behaviour” is by the
nature of human not nurtured, meaning the criminal behaviour of a human
comes from their own way of thinking or behaving. It might be on their genes
being a human with perspective of doing such criminal behaviour. It is ones
decision or insight to commit a crime that’s why they refer as the criminal
behaviour is natured. If a person is born in a criminal family he/she might be
thought of wrong doings but, human has its own different ways of thinking. We
might say that even you are thought wrong, you still have the decision or
perception if you are going to follow their steps or shadows. That’s why I think
they refer as the “Criminal Behaviour”, as natured not nurture for it is based on
how one’s think or if it’s in their cognitive behaviour.
4. For me there is so what we call a “Born Criminal”, because a person as he/she
was born he or she have already an insight of his/her behaviour unknowingly. A
person might be thought as on the process of growing up, but someday we will
all have matured thinking and will know how to act as a fair human being. No
one shall dictate to us to do wrong things, it is up to us if we are going to commit
crimes. We are born with our own way of thinking and how we handle our lives,
mistakes and wrongness in our lives is made by our decision making no one
shall be blamed.

5. For me they thought of the idea that everyone has “Criminal Mind”, is because
they might experienced it too or been proven by research that even the kind of
people we least expect to think of committing a possible crime thinks of those
things. As a person who believed in their Idea, I am fully honest that even
myself sometime I thought of criminal acts. I think of getting revenge to
someone committing a possible crime like murder. All people I think sometimes
think of something that is forbidden by the law, yes it is not good to think of
doing bad to someone or on something but if it will calm your mind do think of it
but it is already a sin, my advice is that, think badly but do not act harshly. It is
free to think whatever we want but we must also think what might be the
possible consequences of the action we might do. That is why in my humble
opinion, they came up with an idea of that everyone posses a criminal mind is
because, we all have our bad times or experience that we think we should for
example have, revenge, said and other possible urges that we might say a
crime.
