Bharti Airtel Limited, also identified as Airtel, is an Indian global telecommunications services
company based in capital of India. It has operations in 18 countries across Asia and Africa.
Bharti Airtel had over 403 million customers across its operations at the end of March 2019. The
Airtel Business segment extends end-to-end telecom solutions being provided to large Indian and
global corporations by serving as a one point of contact for all telecommunication demands
across data and voice, network integration, and managed services.
Bharti Airtel is a primary and most dependable provider of ICT services in India and offers a
various portfolio of services to enterprises, governments, carriers, and small and medium
business. They also ventured into broadband services and digital tv services.

adversely affecting the overall business of the group.
 Mobile Number Portability can be applied by the company to tap competitor subscribers
by different companies.
Airtel is the market leader in this is the biggest strength of this company and thus they have been
the trendsetter, but with emergence of JIO as disruptor they must follow the market rules. The
government has also imposed various rules and thus they need to follow the trends and
framework. But as India is a growing market and they have abundant opportunities to increase
the customer base.

Conclusion: -
Airtel enjoys great market trust with more than 50% of market share. The emergence of Airtel in
new digital sector they have new market opportunities. They have very strong infrastructure and
thus they can add new subscribers.
Airtel can positively unlock its data monetization opportunities and manage to grow its
smartphone user base beyond the current 60%, it can build a strong digital revenue stream with
its quality subscriber base. But this will hold only if the third telco, Vodafone Idea, operates to
stick around long enough, given its significant financial problems.
