 1. Technical Ability-

 As a Civil engineer design, construction, supervision, operation, and maintain large construction
projects and systems including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges and systems for
water supply and sewage treatment.

 Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.

 Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards and other
factors in planning stages and risk analysis.

 Compile and submit permit applications to local state for verifying that projects comply with various
regulations.

 Perform or oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.

 Test building materials such as concrete, asphalt, or steel for use in particular projects.

 Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment and labor to determine a project's economic
feasibility.

 Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems and structures in
line with industry and government standards.

 Perform or oversee surveying operations to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide
construction.

 Present their findings to the public on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements
or property descriptions.

 Manage the repair, maintenance and replacement of public and private infrastructure.

 As a civil engineer, I think logically always. I analyze strengths and weaknesses and offer alternative
solutions, approaches and conclusions to problems. Critical thinking helps me to ensure everything
runs smoothly and systematically.

 Constantly up to date with the latest technologies in my work field and I have ability to adapt and
generate equipment and technology.

 I have complex problem solving skills to identify such problems and evaluate related information to
develop and assess options that will offer appropriate solution.

 Conducting tests and inspection of services, processes to evaluate quality or performance.

 Considering the relatives costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  Identifying measures of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct
performance, relative to the goal of the system.

 I can determine how a system should work and how changes in condition, operations, and
environment will affect outcomes.

 Working with a team in achieving highest production as well as ensuring fault less production to
reach company goal.

 Investigate public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial
measures.

 Guiding and helping maintenance team to keep production fault free under difficult situation.

 With the guideline of supervisor prepare individual action plan to ensure effective maintenance
work.

 Establish and maintain multi-tiered relationships with other department to ensure highest production
without any fault and achievement of business goals.

 Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

 Supervise and train project team members as necessary.

 Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests to maintenance team.

 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing

professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

 Estimating material, construction, and labor costs, and project timescales.

  Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmers.

 Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers.

 Making sure projects meet civil and construction safety regulations

 Designing and overseeing the installation of civil systems in buildings.

 Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision
technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

  Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment,
