highlight the value of Cultural Relativism (Goal). The output will be posted in your school’s official
social media page for every student to see (Audience). The principal told you to focus more on the

Reflection/Explanation of Output:
Culture is the lens with which we evaluate everything around us; we evaluate what is
proper or improper, normal or abnormal, through our culture. If we are immersed in a culture that
is unlike our own, we may experience culture shock and become disoriented when we come into
contact with a fundamentally different culture. People naturally use their own culture as the
standard to judge other cultures; however, passing judgment could reach a level where people
begin to discriminate against others whose “ways of being” are different, we tend to fear that
which we do not understand.
I made infographics about cultural relativism where teachers, students and all people will
help to understand culture differences which promote awareness to the importance of diverse
culture and how we should treat people in terms of differences. This information will help us
recognize and respect “ways of being” that are not necessarily our own, so that as we interact with
others we can build bridges to trust, respect, and understanding across cultures. Furthermore, this
diversity makes our country a more interesting place to live, as people from diverse cultures
contribute language skills, new ways of thinking, new knowledge, and different experiences.
As a conclusion, this infographic about cultural diversity creates an understanding that
there are many cultures in the world and that each culture has its own values, beliefs, and practices
that have been developed over time in a particular context, either historically, politically, or
socially, and that none of the cultures are necessarily wrong or right. The modern world has widely
embraced the concept of cultural relativism, with words such as tolerance and acceptance taking
on a new meaning. Understanding cultural relativism enables one to escape the unconscious bond
of their culture which biases their perceptions and reaction to the world. It also helps people to
make sense of a different culture. Cultural relativism gets people to admit that though their moral
principles and values may seem evidently true and may form the basis for passing judgment on
other people, the evidence of these moral principles is just illusions.
