Lesson: Examining Biases Made by the Author

My Reflection

We live in a world where anyone can access your posts on social media, it's either fact or
perspective-based. Some of these are one-sided, it leads us to have an expressive mindset with current
issues. Consequently, we shift our intellectual feelings positively or negatively by someone's thoughts.
Through weighing this in a balanced manner, we would have viewpoints on every situation.

Bias is an emotional tendency in favor or against an idea. This happens naturally, like choosing
between your favorite journalist vs. famous ones, you would pick the journalist you love. This is biased
toward your preferred writer whereas away from the popular one. If an author is biased, be aware of
his/her stance on the topic (tone), since descriptive language employs eccentric words that shape the
reader's attitude. We can identify the author's bias by inspecting the tone, stereotypes, inconsistencies,
mood, syntax, and image senses in his/her work. These help us compose formal criticisms
which require us to delineate, analyze, interpret, and assess concepts that are argumentative or blended
with truths. Examining the author's bias is essential because it determines the veracious color of a
subject, validates criticism of the author, and elevates public consciousness of the sentiments
conveyed in the passage. However, having biases doesn't mean it's bad nor good. It's spellbinding, the
key value is to act as a medium to influence many and it is up to us whether we reflect it morally.

An idea web is crucial for arranging principles, making education fruitful and artistic. It's distilled
into core themes; notions are broader, no conflicts, best at forming steps. Engagement with people to
perform as one is a critical element in nurturing profound learning. I ought to discover more about
creating idea webs as well as constructing a proper judgment to a writer's paper. It would be a
tremendous benefit for me to understand more about the outlooks of the society we are surrounded
with.

If an author is biased, know his/her stance on the topic (tone) because it has a
descriptive language which selects eccentric words that affect the reader's attitude. By inspecting the
tone, stereotypes, inconsistencies, mood, syntax, and image senses from the author's work we can
evince that he/she is biased. These assist us in writing formal criticisms, thus require us to delineate,
analyze, interpret and assess concepts that are opinionated or mixed with facts. Examining the author's
bias is essential for it determines the veracious color of a subject, strengthens the criticism about the
author, also gives people awareness of the sentiments meant in the passage. However, having biases
doesn't mean it's bad nor good. It's spellbinding, the key value is to act as a medium to influence many
