A selection of flavorful longswords for lower level ad-
venturers.
Aggressive Diplomacy

A steel blade unusually cool to the touch. The pommel is
engraved with a polar bear. The bearer is resistant to
cold damage.

Made of gleaming mithril, Aggressive Diplomacy is a

princely weapon. Created by young adventurous Fey for
traveling between planes. The wielder can cast compre-
hend languages once per long rest.
Deva's Gift
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
Created by a Deva as a gift from the god they represent.
It weights little and is never stained by dirt. The wielder
can change damage to radiant by using a command
word.
Gaseous Blade
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
The sword looks like a hilt with no blade and feels al-
most hollow. The user must will it to take shape or dis-
perse. Does an extra 1d4 damage.
Grave Sword
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
The blade thrusts forth through the cackling maw of a
skull. These blades are often found by those that watch
over tombs or pay homage to a necromancer. Does nec-
rotic damage or slashing whichever is more effective.
Gem Cutter
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
Polished to a gleam and made of onyx. Wielder is sure
footed, they have advantage on strength and dexterity
saving throws versus being knocked prone.
Goblin Slasher
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
Slightly shorter than the average longsword but just as
deadly. Detect Goblinoid creatures within 120ft.
Hungering Blade
Weapon (Longsword), Uncommon (requires attunement)
has advantage on swim checks.
Skull Crusher

An unusually large blade forged by giants for smaller
companions. Does 1d10 Slashing, Versatile (1d12) and
Strength required 16.
Sword of the Wild

Must be wielded by worshipper of a nature deity. Can
cast speak with animals and Barkskin once per long
rest.

This item was created by Gnomes looking to beat

Dwarves in surface weapons trade. Overall it is lighter
in design than a normal longsword but just as effective.
A wonder of magic and engineering this blade can can
collapse down to a dagger or shortsword. When in an-
other form the blade takes on the properties of the new
form.
