UPTIME MAINTENANCE PLANNER

As Required
• Inspect tires and check pressure • Clean or replace engine air cleaner elements
• Check wheel f asteners (see operator's manual) • Lubricate MFWD driv e shaf t spline (if equipped)
• Drain water and sediment f rom water separators • Lubricate non-powered f ront wheel bearings (if equipped)
• Check or drain auxiliary water separator f uel f ilter (if equipped) • Add coolant extender as indicated by COOL-GARD™ II test strips
• Lubricate stabilizer leg wear strips (315SJ and 325J only ) • Lubricate side shif t f rame (315SJ and 325J only )
• Clean or replace cab f resh air and recirculation f ilters (if equipped)
Ev ery 10 Hours or Daily
• Check hy draulic reserv oir oil lev el • Lubricate backhoe boom, crowd cy linders and piv ots
• Check engine oil lev el • Lubricate backhoe bucket cy linder and piv ots
• Check coolant lev el • Lubricate backhoe swing cy linder and piv ots
• Inspect f uel water sediment bowls • Lubricate MFWD f ront axle U-joints (if equipped)
• Lubricate loader piv ot points • Lubricate non-powered f ront axle steering piv ots (if equipped)
• Lubricate loader quick coupler (if equipped) • Lubricate multipurpose bucket piv ots (if equipped)
• Lubricate f ront axle piv ot pin • Lubricate backhoe bucket linkage piv ots and cy linder rod ends
• Lubricate stabilizer piv ots and cy linder pins • Lubricate backhoe coupler (if equipped)
• Lubricate loader bucket f ork piv ots (if equipped) (325J only ) • Lubricate backhoe coupler mechanical jack (if equipped)

• Check transmission oil lev el • Lubricate backhoe coupler f ittings (if equipped)
Initial Serv ice—250 Hours 1
• Change engine break-in oil and replace f ilter
Ev ery 250 Hours
• Check MFWD planetary housing oil lev el (if equipped) • Check rear axle oil lev el
• Check MFWD f ront axle housing oil lev el (if equipped) • Take engine oil sample
• Check battery electroly te lev el; clean and tighten terminals
Ev ery 500 Hours
• Check air intake hose • Clean engine crankcase v entilation tube
• Check boom-to-dipperstick pin bolt torque • Take rear axle oil sample
• Drain water and sediment f rom f uel tank • Take diesel f uel sample
• Change engine oil and replace f ilter • Take transmission oil sample
• Replace f uel f ilters • Take hy draulic oil sample
• Replace auxiliary water separator f uel f ilter (if equipped) • Take engine coolant sample
• Drain, warm, and ref ill engine oil; replace engine oil f ilter
Ev ery 1000 Hours
• Replace hy draulic reserv oir breather • Replace hy draulic oil f ilter
• Replace engine air cleaner elements • Replace f uel breather
• Replace cab f resh air and recirculation f ilters • Change transmission oil and replace f ilter
• Inspect serpentine belt • Check coolant
• Clean, pack, and adjust non-powered f ront wheel bearing (if equipped)

• Adjust engine v alv e lash • Drain and ref ill hy draulic reserv oir oil
• Drain and ref ill MFWD f ront axle housing oil (if equipped) • Drain and ref ill rear axle and planetary oil
• Drain and ref ill MFWD planetary housing oil (if equipped) • Inspect and clean hy draulic reserv oir f ill screen
