Product Primer
This product primer summarizes the key benefits and limits of the PRUlink assurance account plus. It is a quick guide on the
product created primarily for the use of Pru Life UK employees and distributors. While reasonable care was made in the preparation
of this material, any omissions, deletions and/or statements inconsistent with the Policy Contract must be construed or rectified in
favor of the Policy Contract. Should you wish to share this material with persons who are not Pru Life UK employees or distributors,
please seek the prior written approval from the Product Management team.
I. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The PRUlink assurance account plus (PAA Plus) is a regular-pay (payable up to age 100) unit-linked life insurance
product. It provides living, disability and death benefits. It is available in peso and dollar denominations.

Accidental Death and Disablement Benefit (ADD)
1. Issue age: 0 to 65 years old
2. Benefit term period: up to age 73
3. Minimum sum assured: PhP 60,000 or USD 1,200
4. Maximum sum assured: Whichever is lower of 500% of basic
sum assured or PhP 10,000,000/USD 200,000
5. ADD is a core benefit at the minimum sum assured only.
Availing higher ADD sum assured is optional and will require
additional premium based on the total coverage.
6. For issue ages 0 (7 days) to 4, ADD is automatically attached
but this benefit begins only when the life insured turns five
(5) years old.
7. The ADD as core benefit will accept all life insureds who will
normally be rejected due to location of residence or work
and/or due to occupation. They will be given maximum rating
of Class 3 and the amount they can avail is the minimum ADD
sum assured.
8. ADD coverage of insureds who will breach the cap amount of
PhP 10 million per life will be accepted at the minimum ADD
sum assured.
9. If ADD rider is attached to base plan with sum assured above
the minimum, the Personal Accident (PA) rider can no longer
be attached.

Glossary of terms
Basic annual premium – refers to the input amount in peso or dollar as desired premium of a client or the
resulting premium of the chosen sum assured of the base plan sans any optional benefit/riders.
Benefit amount – refers to sum assured of critical illness, term insurance, and accident riders, or the daily
lump sum amount due of hospitalization riders.
Coordination of benefit – is the aggregation of sum assured of all accident riders and/or critical illness
benefits bought from Pru Life UK, and ensures that accident rider and/or critical illness rider benefits under
the name of the insured do not exceed the respective limits of the mentioned riders.
Full withdrawal - is when a policyowner withdraws the whole amount of his/her accumulated fund value
within the policy benefit term. This will result to the termination of the policy.
Partial withdrawal – is when a policyowner opts to withdraw a portion of his/her accumulated fund value
within the policy benefit term.
Premium redirection – is when you change the proportions of the funds in which your regular premiums are
being invested.

Pru Life Insurance Corporation of U.K. (Pru Life UK) may be obliged to comply with the requirements of the
laws in various jurisdictions, including but not limited to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) of
the United States (US). Under such requirements, Pru Life UK may be required to provide authorities,
including but not limited to the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS), information about certain customers. By
availing of this product, your customer agrees to complete all mandatory questions on the application form
and provide Pru Life UK with any additional information, as requested.
