Games are known as one of the most common ways to teach English because of their
numerous advantages. Firstly, playing games is one of the most easiest ways to engage students. This
is because it captures their attention, makes learning more enjoyable and reduces pressure in theory
lessons. They can also be a powerful tool helping to motivate a class. Secondly, games helps bulid
class cooperation. It force students to work together as a team. In this way, they can learn how to
communicate, listen to others and play fairly to achieve a certain goal. Moreover, games provide
language practice in the various skills such as reading, comprehesion and speaking. They also
reinforce vocabulary and grammar. In this way, lessons become more memorable to students because
the fun moments of games stand out to them. In conlusion, it is undeniable that utilizing games in
teaching English leads learners to plenty of significant advantages.
