*VETM 1007,2012,3011-the total number of students per session is shown, however students are further divided into groups of 6-8. So if 16 students are involved in the lab, there will be 2 different sessions running concurrently,
conducting different skills with 8 students per session.

VETM 1210 & VETM 2001

 Before entering lab, we will require the students to get their temperatures taken at the Front Office. In the lab, we have a hand sanitizer pump as well as a wash station with soap to ensure proper hand cleansing. Adhering to
State guidelines, there will be a requirement for masks to be worn properly and for social distancing within the lab. Gloves will be always worn by all students to avoid contaminating specimens.
 There will be six large tables evenly distributed in the lab with 3 students per table.
 These sessions are proposed to run from February 4th to April 1st , 2021

VETM 3010
 Most of the material used for the labs are cases that the Year 5 (VETM 5010) students have done. These can be discussed with the students via Blackboard Collaborate sessions, not in person.
 Their presence is not needed, furthermore the space for necropsy would not allow to accommodate a whole class, and there are no other necropsy labs available.
 Performing a necropsy is also not the main focus of what the lab is about and even under non-COVID conditions, this is not something they are required to do.
 Videos are and will be provided about various necropsy techniques, to familiarize them with that aspect.

VETM 4012
Before entering lab, the students have to get their temperature taken at the Front Office
Students and staff must wear face masks, face shields, and gloves
Students and staff must wash their hands before entering the lab - will a wash station be provided outside the HWB lab ??
Students must maintain social distancing away from other students and staff
The Holman Williams Laboratory will be used for the lab session - This laboratory is large enough to allow for social distancing.
Each student will have 1 station with the necessary laboratory supplies, and the stations will be adequately placed to allow for social distancing

VETM 5006
 Laboratory sessions will be held in the Steve Bennett Laboratory
 Temperatures will be taken. Students are required to wash their hands. Whilst in the laboratory, all students are required to wear masks and social distance according to national public health guidelines.
 These sessions are proposed to run from February 17th to April 30th.

MPhil Student
 An initial training session (E. coli culture and antibiotic resistance testing) is proposed for Dr Luissa Jacob in the Public Health Laboratory (Room 114) for three days (3 February to 5 February)
 Her temperature will be taken. National guidelines will be followed, that is, hand washing, mask wearing and social distancing.
