Optocouplers

When small size, high speed and high reliability are required
for isolation between one electrical system and another, an
optocoupler is your best choice. OPTEK Technology is your
best source for high voltage isolation. Our optocouplers allow
control with complete isolation of input from output. These
devices are similar to a transformer in that the input is
electrically isolated from the output, but they offer significant
protection and higher speed transmission of the signal from
input to output.
OPTEK s broad line of optocouplers gives design engineers a
wide selection to choose from. Typical isolation voltage is
2500, 3750, and 5000 Volts, (RMS) making the devices ideal for
most power system isolation requirements. Most products
have selectable CTR ranges. Product is available with either
analog or digital output:
• Analog output devices in economical 4 pin surface
mount or DIP or SSOP packages.
• Analog output devices in economical 5 pin or 6 pin DIP
or SMD packages.
• High speed analog or digital Photologic® output
devices in 8 pin DIP or SMD packages.
