Question 1 COMPULSORY! Marks: 30

After 14 years ,looking at the current competitive landscape, various market segments,
technological innovation and solutions available and what the globalised economy looks like
today in 2015:
A. From an IKM perspective, what are some of the advantages and disadvantages of
today’s times which would have not been an issue or opportunity in the time this
journal was published?

B. Based on disadvantages you have depicted in your answer to Question 1A, how
would you mitigate these in order to reap the benefits and stay relevant and
competitive?

Question 2 Marks: 20

A. How would you approach the scenario in an environment where sharing is not
deemed to be a priority, worst is seen to be counterproductive?

B. What approach (apply the SECI model as one of the reference points) could you
instil in the short, medium and long term to get the behaviour where it’s desirable
and resolving what’s been depicting in Question 2A?

Question 3 Marks: 20

A) What would be your plan of action and approach to illustrate the value of IKM in their
organisation?
B) How would you get your executives to participate in IKM?
C) Using the dimensions of IKM, how would you approach this and which of the
dimensions would be your priority (and why)?
