Course Objectives To introduce the concepts of scarcity and efficiency; to explain principles
of micro economics relevant to managing an organization; to describe
principles of macroeconomics to have the understanding of economic
environment of business.
CO1- To introduce the concepts of scarcity and efficiency
Course Outcomes
CO2 - To explain principles of microeconomics relevant to managing an
organization
CO3 - To describe principles of macroeconomics
CO4- To have the understanding of economic environment of business.
CO5- To study about the policies that regulate economic variables

Anticipatory Set 1. Divide students into groups of six.
2. Give each team activities related to the topic of discussion.
3. Tell them that their task is to do the activity given and present report on
the activity before the class.
4. Students should be given 10-15 minutes to complete the task.
5. After the task is completed, judge each team on the basis of the selected
criteria.
6. Ask each team to rate themselves on a scale from 1 to 10. They’ll rate
themselves on the effectiveness of the team if the team was an
organization.
Assess knowledge through the Intellectual break and end of the lesson Quizzes,
Summative / End of the Course
Assessment * GMTs, IAT1, IAT 2 and evaluate the assigned Practices (Activities/Cases).
