HOW LIFE BEGAN ON EARTH, RELIGOUSLY AND SCIENTIFICALLY

From the the moment we are born in this world we always search for the explanation in
the origin of the things around us, we always try to ask our colleagues or people around us on
how does the world began ,the universe started even, is their really a God who created
everything.
In this topic, we will try to examine and evaluate things that have connection to our
inquiry about the world. We will explore the different theories of many scientists who searched
for an answer to a ever widening question about the origin of the world.

HOW LIFE BEGAN ON EARTH SCIENTIFICALLY

The first theory are the big bang theory the most popular theory of our universe’s origin
centers on a cosmic cataclysm unmatched in all of history. This theory was born of the
observation that other galaxies are moving away from our own at great speed, in all directions
as if they had all been propelled by ancient explosive force.

BIG BANG THEORY

The big bang theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. At its
simplest, it talks about the universe as we know it starting with a small singularity, then inflating
over the next 13.8 billion years to the cosmos that we know today.
The phrase big bang theory has been popular among astrophysicists for decades, but it
hit the mainstream in 2007 when a comedy show with the same name premiered on CBS. The
show follows the home and academic life of several researchers.
Before the Bigbang, scientists believe the entire vastness of the observable universe,
including all of the matter and radiation, was compressed into hot, dense mass just a few
millimeters across. This nearly incomprehensible state is theorized to have existed for just a
fraction of that second time.
Big bang proponent suggest that some 10 billion to 20 billion years ago a massive blast
allowed all the universes known matter and energy even space and the time themselves to
spring from some ancient and unknown type of energy.
STEADY STATE THEORY
In cosmology, Steady state Theory is a now-obsolete theory and model alternative, to
the Big bang theory of the universe’s origin. In steady state views, new matter is continuously
created as the universe expands, thus adhering to the perfect cosmological principle.
While the steady state model enjoyed popularity in the first half of 2oth century, it is
now rejected by the vast majority of professional cosmologists and other scientists, as the
observational evidence points to have a Big bang type cosmology and finite age of the universe.
Sir James Jeans in the 1920s was the first to conjecture a steady state cosmology based
on hypothesized continuous creation of matter in the universe. The idea was when revised in
1948 by Fred Hoyle, Thomas Gold, Hermann Bondi and others. The steady state theory of Bondi
and Gold was inspired by the circular plot of the film Dead of Night, which they had watched
together. Theoretical calculations showed that static universe was impolible under general
relativity and observations by Edwin Hubble had shown that the universe was expanding. It
nevertheless does not changed its appearance over time (the perfection of cosmological
principle) it has no beginning and no end.
Is explained microwave background radiation as the result of light from the ancient stars
that has been scattered by galactic dust. However, the cosmic microwave background level is
very even in all directions making it difficult to explain how it could be generated by numerous
points sources and the microwave background radiation shows no evidence of characteristics
such as polarization that normally associated with scattering. Furthermore, its spectrum is so
closed to that an ideal black body that it could hardly be formed by the super position of
contributions from multitude of thus clumps at different temperatures as well as at different
red shifts. Steven Weinberg wrote in 1972.

PLANETISSIMAL THEORY
The planetissimal theory agrees with the solar disruption theory. Because of the near
collision of the sun and another star, the sun blew out some hot materials. This hot materials
became parts of the star passing near the sun. the sun continued to blow large and small
particles which became the planet, meteorites and other heavenly bodies.
HOW LIFE BEGAN ON RELIGIOUSLY
Creationism is the belief that the universe and living organism originate from specific
divine creation. For young earth creationists, this includes a literalistic reading of book of
genesis and the rejection of evolution. Various views aimed at reconciling the Abrahamic and
Genesis creation.

Genesis 1
 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and
the spirits of God was hovering over the waters.
 God saw that light was good, and separated the light from the darkness. God called the
light day and the darkness he called night. And there was evening and there was
morning.
 God said let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear
and it was so. God called the dry ground land and the gathered waters he called seas.
 The land produce vegetation plants bearing seed according to their kind and trees
bearing root with seed in according to their kind.
 And God said let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds, the livestock,
the creatures that move along the ground and the wild animals, each according to each
kind.
 Then God said let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness so that they may rule
over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky over the livestock and the wild animals,
and overall the creatures that move along the ground.
 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male
and female created.

Genesis 2 (Adam and Eve)

 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of ground and breath into his nostrils
the breath of life and the man became a living being.
 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the East, in Eden and there he put the man
he had formed.
 The Lord God said, it is not good for the man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable
for him.
 So the Lord God cause the man to fall in a deep sleep and while he was sleeping he took
one of the man’s ribs and close up the place with flesh.
 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man and he
brought her to the man
 That is why a man lives his father and mother and is united to his wife and the became
one flesh.
 Adam and his wife were both naked and they felt no shame.
