Coca Cola Bench Project Directive:
Create a furniture design
inspired by a comapany of our choice.
My coke bottle furniture will function as a
bench to sit on for people.
Concept Statement
The client for this bench will be the Coca Cola company. The
bench design will be inspired by the shape of the Coca Cola
glass bottle. The purpose of the design of the bench will be
to make a bench for people to sit on at the Coca Cola Store
World of Coca Cola located in Atlanta Georgia. The top of
the bench will be the shape of the Coca Cola glass
bottle. Part of the bottom to support the top will represent
the metal cap of the bottle. The other support piece will
resemble the swoosh from the C in the Coca Cola label.
Inspiration:
The concept was inspired by the shape
of a glass coke bottle and the Coca Cola
logo. The top of the bench where people
sit is the shape of the bottle. Part of the
bottom suppour was inspired by the metal
cap of a bottle and the other suppourting
leg was inspired by the swoosh from the C
in the Coca Cola logo.
