FORM

(+) S + have/ has + PII. (+) S + have/ has + been + Ving.


(-) S + have/ has + not + PII. (-) S + have/ has + not + been + Ving.
(?) Have/ has + S + PII? (?) Have/ has + S + been + Ving?
USAGE

 Hành động đã xảy ra và kết thúc hoàn toàn trong  Hành động bắt đầu trong quá khứ, vẫn đang tiếp
quá khứ nhưng không có thời gian cụ thể. diễn ở hiện tại và có thể còn tiếp tục xảy ra trong
Eg: He has sold his car. tương lai.
(when? We don’t know.) Eg: She has been living in this house for 2 years.
I have read this book before. (She still lives in this house.)
 Hành động xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ  Nhấn mạnh vào thời gian hay quá trình xảy ra sự

TIME EXPRESSIONS
Present Perfect Present Perfect Continuous
 Just, ever, never, yet, already, before.  All + day/ night/ week …
 Since + time (since 1990 …)  For + hours/ days/ weeks/ months…
 For + period of time (for 5 years …)
 So far = up to now = up to present
 Lately = recently = in recent years
 Once/ several times
 For a long time = for ages
 For the last/ past + TIME
Eg: for the last three days
for the last decade
