We use Simple Past for actions that lasted in the past but are now finished ; Present Perfect is
used for actions that began in the past and continue up to the present.
Mr. Yudhis worked as an employer in a company 5 years ago. Now he is a teacher. Hehas worked

They lived in Yogyakarta last year. ( Now, they don’t live in Yogyakarta anymore )
