Essay on Listning Skills

Good listening skills make staff more productive. The ability to listen
carefully will allow employees to better understand the assignments and
what is expected of them; building relationships with colleagues, managers,
and customers; show support; work better in a group-based environment;
problem solving with customers, colleagues, and managers; answer the
questions; then find basic explanations for what others say. A good listener
knows that paying attention to what another person has to say is as
important as listening to what the other person has to say. Listening is one
of the most important skills a person can have. Good listening skills have a
big impact on work performance, as well as the quality of relationships with
others. How to be a better listener to practice effective listening. This is
where one should make an effort to hear not only the words spoken by the
other person but, more importantly, to try to understand the whole message
sent. When I provide listening skills, the first thing I do is pay attention. I
want to show someone that I am listening and giving feedback.
Listening is
not the same as hearing. Hearing is a visual process of absorbing sound
and unless you have a hearing problem, hearing is a relatively simple
process. Listening is very difficult; a cognitive process that requires brain
function. Selected hearing is a way of describing other people's tendency to
ignore things they do not want to hear. I tend to have selective ears from
time to time especially when I am told to do something.

Professional ethics is a form of behavior that incorporates human approach

and meaningless emotional voice. Professionalism and extremely sensitive
approach are not the same thing. Professional people smile appropriately
and demand respect. One thing one can never do is try to be someone, or
something they are not. It’s important to be natural and be yourself. The
first appearance means a lot and one does not have to say anything in
order for someone else to judge their behavior. When you are at a meeting
or an interview, it is important that you dress appropriately. It's not about
the accessories that work with your outfit, it's about selling yourself or the
company you represent. Introducing a professional character also means
that a person’s nails are clean and provide warm ways for the phone. It is
always important to strive to be a better and more helpful, kind and
considerate person at work. My message always agrees between the two. I
work for American companies and I understand the value my company
strives to earn. It is important for me to be independent while I am at work
even when I am not at work. I don’t know who is watching everything I do.

Good behavior to me means the way you behave. That behavior should not
be talked about in a business way but in your daily life. Some people who
work in professional fields really do not know how to become professionals.
A professional is determined and confident. They manage their business.
They understand the set back and technical settings. At work, it is
important to understand how to dress. Business entertainment does not
mean capris. A nice piece of paper and a pair of nice pants are great. Open
communication and staying calm again. The way a person presents himself
must be an expert. Sounds is not the way to do it. I behave in a proper and
proper manner because I want respect and for people to understand that I
am talking about my business.
My message remains consistent and I meet good people because I want
the same treatment.
Communication is the process of transferring information from one
business to another. Indirect communication is the process of
communicating by sending and receiving voiceless messages. Such
messages can be conveyed by touch, gestures, or posture; face to face.
Verbal communication plays an important role in a person's daily life, from
work to romantic relationships. Visual communication as the name
suggests communication with visual aids. Communication of ideas and
information in ways that can be read or viewed.
Oral communication is very important for a deaf person who can get a lot of
information in this way. I could use such communication skills as face-to-
face. I may need to touch a deaf person on the shoulder, arm, or leg to get
attention if they are close enough to me. When communicating with a
visually impaired person, it is important to explain what is being done. I can
describe my movements, facial expressions and what is presented.
I need to make sure I can communicate effectively so that no one will be
left out of the meeting. Patience is a key word. I can include other members
of my team to help me find a way for all of us to understand the problem.
Age differences are obviously a factor in this group environment. The
oldest member is set in its own way and may want things done from start to
finish. Sometimes young people can relax a little. They go with the flow as
one might say. Roger that. They may agree but do not know what is being
said. Men have their opinions when it comes to situations. Women want the
best for what I do. I want things to be sorted and mapped before action is
taken. I understand that language barriers are a major problem perhaps for
Latinos and members of the Kenyan group. They have strong accents at
times and some team members can have a hard time understanding what
is being said. And they can be frustrated because we all cannot
understand. They may give up. The deaf person and the person in charge
of the hearing aid may need someone to translate the paper or everything
may need to be removed. The key word is team and we all have to come
up with plans. I do not want anyone to feel excluded because they have a
difficult time understanding. A member of a group with a bad eye may need
to be taught everything. We have to explain what happened. Everything
can be done anyway.
As a Group Leader, what can you do to ensure everyone's understanding
of the work assignments from the conference?
As a party leader, I will not leave
the meeting until we all understand. If I have to have a meeting that caters
for individual needs, I will do that.

What are some other communication tools you can use at your meeting?
We can all
help. Some people may have better communication skills so I will include
my team and ask for their help. We can use drawings and tap recorded
messages. Anything that can fit them all.
