Q2. The centres of two circles C1 and C2 each of unit radius are at a distance of 6 units from each
other. Let P be the midpoint of the line segment joining the centres of C1 and C2 and C be a circle
touching C1 and C2 externally. If a common tangent to C1 and C passing through P is also a
common tangent to C2 and C1, then find the radius of the circle C.

Q3. C1 and C2 are circles of unit radius with centres at (0, 0) and (1, 0) respectively. C3 is a circle of
unit radius, and passes through the centres of circles C1 and C2 and has its centre above x-axis.
Find the equation of the common tangent to C1 and C3 which does pass thorough C2

Q4. Find the equation of the circle which cuts orthogonally each of the three circles given below

x2  y 2  2 x  3 y  7  0, x2  y 2  5x  5 y  9  0 & x2  y 2  7 x  9 y  29  0

Q5. Find the equation of the circle circumscribing the quadrilateral formed by the line in the order

5x + 3y – 9 =0, x – 3 y = 0, 2x – y =0 and x + 4y =2
