Direction: Song Analysis. Analyze the song of the Singer-Song Writer Noel
Cabangon, entitled “Ako’y Isang Mabuting Pilipino.” In your own perspective based
on the song, what is the advocacy the writer’s advocacy and who will be empowered

The advocacy of the writer Noel Cabangon is for you to be a a good Filipino. You need to be
responsible on your own country that is Philippines. You must abide by the laws and policies in
your area as a Filipino citizen it is your duty to abide by the rules of your country. He love’s his
country very much that’s why he always abide the rules in our community. He follows the rules
as a Filipino citizen. He is a good person and does not take pride in other people. He is a good
citizen who follows the principles of taking caring for the environment and he fulfills his duties.
He loves his country very well that’s why he don’t taking advantage of it.

1. In your own perception which is more important, empowerment or
advocacy? Defend your answer.
Advocacy because, it is you will receive support, advice and help that will help people who
cannot afford to defend themselves to others. This will help the person who cannot defend
themselves because finally someone can defend them. They will have the ability to protect to
speak for them because they themselves cannot do that for themselves so advocacy is of great
help to those like them.

2. Which among the strategies discussed earlier of empowerment and advocacy


is the most important? Why?
The Secure Strong Leadership, because we need strong leadership, the leader should have the
characteristics that will to serve the community over a significant period of time she/he can
handle. He/she should also have the capacity to provide both infrastructure and human resources
