The primary purpose for this bulletin is to provide


information if control valve replacement is required.

The secondary purpose is if you are ordering a seal kit


(P/N 6693273) to repair a leak between sections of an
original control valve with less than 100 hours of use.

There has been a small number of these cases where
new seals did not provide a lasting repair. If you are

Remove the access cover to the hydraulic control valve. 4


Clean the area around the control valve. Mark all the
tubelines and hoses for correct installation. Disconnect
and plug the tubelines and hoses.

[Figure 4] Locate the new control valve mounting holes


(Item 5) per the following instructions:

1. Measure down 56.9 mm (2.24 in) (Item 1) from the top


of the center tab and make a horizontal line.
2. Measure down 117.0 mm (4.61 in) (Item 2) from that
line and make a second horizontal line.

3. Measure outward 32.0 mm (1.26 in) (Item 3) from the
inside edge of the large opening and make a vertical

[Figure 3] Measure 9.52 mm (.375 in) (Item 1) down
from the bottom edge of the two existing notches and
draw a line. Remove the material inside the two areas

holes on the right side of the panel and the one longer
new bolt 17C524 (Item 2) in the top left side hole. Install
the two spacer plates 7204403 (Item 3) on the hardware
prior to installing the control valve.
