1. General
EVRC2A-n Interface Software is for Windows. Through communication port (RS232 Port on
front panel) and TCP communication, setting change and records can be managed. Fault
waveform data is easily viewed, and fault analysis is more efficient by zoon in/out waveform.

1) EVRC2A-n can download all records and it can be viewed in real time as well.

2) All downloaded data are classified into groups, load profile and fault events have wave forms
and it can be printed out.

3) All downloaded data are able to be saved in file, and the saved file can be viewed in OFF-line
and can be printed.

4) Not from the panel, but through the interface software, setting can be changed. Unlike panel,
the interface software can support System information configuration.

5) Recorded data in EVRC2A-n can be form into Excel file in order to provide convenient data
to the user. Graphic data has zoon in/out feature and it helps to investigate the data.

6) The interface software has 3 steps of security system. It has different type of
login(Administrator, Common User, Basic User). And unauthorized user shall not be able to
be logged in for security reason.

Ÿ Drag&Drop Method: “Base Map List” provides all points list to be used. To do mapping,
drag a selected group point into right side “User Map List”.
Ÿ Used point distinguish: Gray colored point is already being used in Base Map List, drag
the corresponding point from User Map List into Base Map List, Gray color will be
disappeared. However, the point will be removed from the user map list.
Ÿ Apply: Changed information is applied, Later, it shall be saved or transfer the data during
on-line.
Ÿ Close: “DB MAP Configuration” window is closed.
Ÿ Invert: It is used to invert a value of corresponding point.
Ÿ Class: Set a class that related with event occurring in DNP communication.
Ÿ Var: Set Object/Variation to read a corresponding point in DNP communication.
Ÿ IEC Mask A: It is to set IEC60870 communication use, there are Group(included in group),
Cyclic(Periodical polling), Group&Cyclic set options.
Ÿ IEC Mask B: It is to set a group on IEC60870 communication use. Please refer to
“IEC60870-5-104 PROTOCOL Technical Manual” for more detail information.
Ÿ Use Dead-Band: It is used to set Dead-Band to a corresponding point.(applicable to
Analog Input)
Ÿ Limit Low, Limit High: Set Min./Max. value of Analog input.
