Top of bench design profile

Requirements:
You are given a CAD file (RW Bench.dwg) that has 2-D information about a retaining wall alignment
(from Sta. 889+32 to 901+89). You are also given the design profile of the top of grading bench that
will be used temporarily during the construction of the retaining all (see the profile above, and the 2-D

1- Create an alignment object for the retaining wall, and name it "Retaining Wall"

2- Import the XML existing surface to your drawing, and name it "Existing Surface"

3- Create an existing surface profile using the "Retaining Wall" alignment and the existing ground
surface.

4- Create a design profile using the information given about the stations and elevations.

5- Create a surface representing the wording bench (top and side) see the cross-section A, and name
it "Grading Bench".

6- Calculate the cut/fill volume between the "Grading Bench", and "Existing Ground" surfaces in two
different ways:

a- Using cross sections (every 50 ft, and wide enough to capture the surface tie-ins and quantity
reports.

b- Using TIN Volume surface (color the cut in red, and fill in green).

Report the cut/fill volume for both methods and compare
