Forestry is a complex and diverse subject area comprising the biology and ecology of plant growth as well
as management of forest ecosystems, the economics of forest trees and the interaction of these factors with
people. The goal of FRST 303 is to familiarize you with the fundamentals of tree and forest biology,
starting with seeds in the soil and culminating with the forested ecosystems that typify much of British
Columbia and other parts of the world.

**NOTE: A list of midterm and final exam questions will be made available well in advance of exams
from which actual exam questions will be selected.** Also note, the final exam is NOT cumulative.
