Training Session : Personal Finance Awareness
A – In this stage, a thorough analysis of the needs of the TG is being conducted where different
mechanisms will be used
D - The training session is designed is a structured manner & resources and learning objectives
are taken into consideration to incorporate in the design phase.
D – This phase is where the content is formulated and completed.
I – Next is the implementation phase, training content is prepared and delivered using an online
platform i.e. Zoom.
E – In this phase, the entire session is evaluated basis the feedback received from the
participants.

1. Analysis phase
In this phase, I have analysed the following for the training session :
• Target Group – Young Adults from the HR domain
• Topic Analysis method : It was done through a poll system where 2 topics were given
to the TG on the whatsapp group. The two topics given were Business - Workplace
Etiquette & Personal Finance Awareness session where the TG opted for the latter
topic.
• Target Group Analysis : In order to identify the level of personal finance understanding
that the TG already have, a google form will be circulated to collect information on the
below parameters :
a) Is the TG investing?
b) If yes, in which assets are they investing in?
• This will help the trainer to assess the proper training needs of the TG & will help the
trainer to focus on those areas that the TG is oblivious about
2. Design phase
This is the blueprinting phase where the trainer will create the blueprint for the training session
and will provide a clear picture as per the below components :
Training Pedagogy
It will be dependent on the TG :
The mode of the training session will be conducted on Zoom platform given the current
situation. However, in regular time frame, this training session can also be conduct on-site i.e.
– In college or In Office

3. Development phase
Each element of the course is developed in this phase as per the specification of design
including style guide, colors, fonts, graphics etc.
The development phases includes the following :
• Training Schedule
• Seating arrangement – Not valid as it will be conducted virtually via Zoom
• Engagement activities with the TG (pre & post) – A google form will be circulated to
the TG asking their understanding about the topic & post the training session a feedback
form (google form) will be shared requesting feedback on the session.
• Audio & visual arrangement – The trainer & participants shall keep the videos switched
on to promote a free two way communication & host rights to be given to the trainer
inorder to share the visual content with audio.

So firstly,
• Break the Ice with an Engaging Video
• Personal experience sharing
• Visual – Powerpoint presentations (very few pictorial slides)
• Lead a discussion based on a question
4. Implementation phase
This phase is about preparing or setting-up an environment where a course developed as a result
of the first four stages can be delivered to learners. In this phase learners begin to see the content
in their learning environment. This step involves people management skills by handling the
participants queries during the session.

5. Evaluation phase
The trainer can evaluate the effectiveness of the training session using the feedback
mechanism.
A google form will be circulated to the TG to provide the feedback on the training session to
understand two aspects i.e. the general aspects & the learning aspect:
Few questions that can be included in the feedback form :
• Considering your overall experience, how likely are you to recommend managing
personal finances to your friends and colleagues?
• Was the trainer effective in delivering the session content ?
• Are you aware about the various financial products available in the market
• Will you start investing?
