Bangla Trac Ltd. (BanglaCAT) is pleased to submit this proposal to MATIN SPINNING
MILLS LIMITED.

This proposal cover the supply of 1 (One) unit of CATERPILLAR Natural Gas Package Generator
Set and auxiliary equipments as specified.

The Natural Gas Engine Package Generator Set offered is CATERPILLAR model G-3512H, 1500
RPM, turbocharged & after cooled engines with CATERPILLER, 50 Hz Generator rated at 1500
ekW, 400V, Continuous Power.

Over 18,000 Gas engines have been manufactured by CATERPILLAR since introduction in the
1930's. In Bangladesh, more than 1500 units of Gas Generator of different capacities are
running with full satisfaction of the customer. Today, CATERPILLAR is the number one heavy
duty gas engine supplier in the world.

Reliability, experience, and responsive service are important considerations when evaluating
suppliers of critical power generations’ services. The proposed CATERPILLAR power generating
equipment exceeds standards for quality, durability, reliability, fuel efficiency along with parts and
service availability. This offer meets or exceeds international recognized performance, technical,

CATERPILLAR Natural Gas Engines are pre-engineered and factory tested as a complete built-
up system prior to delivery. All modules and ancillary equipment arrive on site pre-wired and ready
to connect.

RATINGS - Generator Set ratings are in electric kilowatt (ekW)

CONTINUOUS - Output available without varying load for an unlimited time. Continuous power
in accordance with ISO3046/1.

CONDITIONS - Ratings are based on dry natural gas having a Low heat value of 35.6 MJ/M³.

- Fuel and oil consumption are based on the engine equipped without water pumps.

UNILIB CONTROL SYSTEM
Generator / Utility protections, synchronization and sync check are provided via the MFR. The
following protections are integrated:

Plinth
To enable additional cable entry space, the panel is placed on a 100mm high plinth.
Anti-Condensation Heater
To avoid condensation in the panel due to rapid temperature drops, the panel is equipped with a
150W anti-condensation heater. The heater is controlled via a thermostat.
Panel Light, Socket And Differential/Earth Protection
Tube light, 230Vac, with integrated socket and separate door switch in the top of the panel. The
socket is fused and RCD protected.
Alarm Sounder
Sounder, shipped loose, with 2 meter of cable to mount near the control panel. The sounder
indicates an alarm or fault in the system.
Flash Light
Amber colored flash light mounted on the front of the panel door and connected to the control
system. The light indicates an alarm, fault or warning in the system.

SECTION VI.........AFTER SALES SERVICES

As the Dealer of Caterpillar, BANGLA CAT owned full After Sales Service capability comprising of
65 Service Engineers having specialized Training in Caterpillar Factory. As part of our After Sales
Services we provide following support to our valued customers:

Full engineering services of Planning & Designing for Installation and commissioning of
the Power Plant.
For new genset BanglaCAT shall ensure synchronization with exiting CAT gensets.
Installation and commissioning will be supervised by BANGLACAT engineers.
Necessary in country training for operators will be provided free of charge basis.

SECTION VII.........CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY

All civil works including foundation (Foundation drawing will be supplied by BANGLA
CAT).
Electric cable and Control Cable from the Generator to control panel and control panel
to distribution Bus.
Necessary amount of lube oil for commissioning the engine.
Gas line with 1.5 to 5 psi gas pressure.
Fabrication of exhaust line if any.
Manual labour.

All above works will be supervised by BANGLA CAT engineers.
