MOGA: Then and Now

Monster Galaxy was first introduced in 2012 on Facebook, where the franchise
still maintains a following of 1.25 million fans. The next two entries in the series,
Monster Galaxy: The Zodiac Island and Monster Galaxy: Exile, found great success
on mobile. And now the latest chapter in the MOGA story will also make its debut
on mobile in the form of a play-to-earn game built on blockchain technology.

Brought to you by Gaia Club, Monster Galaxy *P2E* is a brand new mobile game

 Enhanced Gameplay, 3 Ways

Monster Galaxy *P2E* recognizes that different MOGA tamers will take different

approaches to their tasks. That ’s why the game embraces multiple playstyles by

offering both PvP (Player vs Player) and PvE (Player vs Environment) modes.

Embark on an adventure with Quest Mode

In this story-driven game mode, players will be able to accept and complete

quests without expending energy. That means they can invest as much time as

they want into the game, continuing to play until they ’ve accomplished all

available tasks. As the story progresses, players will encounter increasingly

difficult enemies and will have to capture and train higher-level MOGA to defeat

these powerful opponents.

Hone your skills in Challenge Mode

In this story-driven game mode, players will be able to accept and complete

quests without expending energy. That means they can invest as much time as

they want into the game, continuing to play until they ’ve accomplished all

available tasks. As the story progresses, players will encounter increasingly

difficult enemies and will have to capture and train higher-level MOGA to defeat

these powerful opponents.

Encounter extraordinary MOGA in Instance Mode

In Instance Mode, Players can encounter rare MOGA. Some of these MOGA will

only be available for a limited period of time. Instance Mode battles also consume

energy.
 Capture the Magic
In both the Quest and Instance modes, players will have a chance to capture the

MOGA they encounter. Once a MOGA’s HP drops to a low enough level in battle,

players can throw starseeds to try and catch it.

Players will not always be able to capture the full MOGA in battle. Instead, they

will likely obtain only one shard of the MOGA at a time. Players will then have to

earn and merge enough shards of the MOGA to add it to their collection.

MOGA as NFTs: A New Paradigm

The Monster Galaxy games have always centered on players taming and training

monsters called MOGA. Monster Galaxy *P2E* brings back this central mechanic,

but this time around, each MOGA represents a unique NFT that can be traded in

the game’s virtual store or in any leading NFT marketplace. In addition to trading,

players can also delegate MOGA to other players and then share the profits.

MOGA are categorized into seven levels of rarity: common, uncommon, rare,

super rare, epic, legendary, and galactic. The rarity determines the

available quantity of a MOGA and how difficult it is to capture. And while players

can expect to see familiar and popular MOGA make their return in this brand new

game, they can also look forward to the introduction of never-before-seen and

special-edition MOGA!
 Genesis MOGA

Genesis MOGA will be visually distinct from normal MOGA and come with
additional in-game advantages, e.g. freedom to switch elements before each
battle, higher GGM rewards from winning battles, more free energy per day, and
other secret bonuses. These special MOGA will only be obtainable through blind
box sales featuring four levels of Genesis MOGA: rare, super rare, epic, and
legendary. There are only 9,000 Genesis MOGA and, once sold out, will no longer
be available.
 Benefits of the Blockchain
Although the relationship between gaming and blockchain has rapidly developed in recent
years, it remains a relatively new venture. Players who are unfamiliar with this emerging
technology may wonder why we’ve brought Monster Galaxy back in this form. Among the many
reasons behind the decision to deploy the game on the blockchain, we can highlight four

1. Players As Owners
Players are enabled to take ownership of the MOGA they love by minting them on
the decentralized blockchain. Once minted, MOGA can never be deleted by the
game developer. Players then have the freedom to sell them on external NFT
marketplaces, display them in their metaverse identity room, or transfer them to
new Monster Galaxy games or any other games that recognise these MOGA. They
can even create their own game using the MOGA they own.

2. Total Transparency
Everything on the blockchain is both transparent and immutable. What this means
is that we, as the game developer, can never mislead players by manipulating the
data in any way. We are prevented from, among other things, issuing more rare
MOGA than claimed or randomly changing metrics for fan favorite MOGA.

3. Free Exchange
Because NFT marketplaces are open and free to access, players have the ability
to easily exchange MOGA, as well as weapons & equipment, with one another in a
matter of seconds, without ever having to worry about fraudulent transactions.

 A Fateful Decision

If the player agrees to “adopt” their MOGA using $GGM tokens, those MOGA will
then be minted on the blockchain and become real NFT. In this way, the player is
granted real and meaningful ownership of their MOGA.

Should the player instead decline the offer, these starter MOGA will leave their
team. At this point, the player would have to purchase MOGA from the
marketplace in order to continue on in the game.

This system was carefully designed to specifically reward dedicated players

while simultaneously preventing bots and malicious parties from taking unfair
advantage.
