MOGA: Then and Now

Monster Galaxy was first introduced in 2012 on Facebook, where the franchise
still maintains a following of 1.25 million fans. The next two entries in the series,
Monster Galaxy: The Zodiac Island and Monster Galaxy: Exile, found great success
on mobile. And now the latest chapter in the MOGA story will also make its debut
on mobile in the form of a play-to-earn game built on blockchain technology.

Looking Forward

Brought to you by Gaia Club, Monster Galaxy *P2E* is a brand new mobile game
that brings back the amazing creatures that first captured fans’ hearts ten years
ago. In this iteration, players will return to the land of Sunshire where they’ll
encounter both past favorites and brand new MOGA. The music of Monster Galaxy
*P2E* also shines bright thanks to a stunning soundtrack from Jeremy Soule and
the band TREAT. And players will also enjoy an enhanced battle experience and
also earn while they play thanks to an exciting new token-based economy!

We strongly believe that the future of gaming has been completely reshaped by
the open economy that blockchain technologies have unlocked. This new
paradigm not only enables gamers to earn while they play, but also empowers
them to take real ownership of the games they love.
 MOGAs Make The Magic
Creature Creativity

MOGA are the magnificent monsters that players meet and master in the Monster
Galaxy universe. And although there are hundreds of MOGA, every one of them is
special, with its own artful design and unique story. Each MOGA’s attacks and
battle performance are influenced by their assigned element and how it interacts
with their opponents’.
Charge Into Battle

Monster Galaxy *P2E* features significant enhancements to the battling system

used in previous MOGA Games. The game is still in development and its details are
subject to change, but these are the basics of battle.

Form A Winning Team

Up to 5 MOGA can be selected to form a team for
battle. There are nine slots available and since
only one MOGA can be placed in each, players
have to make strategic decisions. It’s important to
note that some MOGA might be skilled with
attacking only the front row, while others might
have the ability to attack all slots.

Brave The Elements

The game’s battle system relies on the interactions between six elements: water,
fire, air, light, dark, and anima. Water extinguishes Fire, Fire conquers Air, and Air
wins out over Water. The Light and Dark elements can damage each other. And
Anima can be used as any element.
 It is essential that players take elemental affinities into account when forming
their team of MOGA. Used strategically, a team of MOGA with the same element
has the potential to be more powerful than a higher-level team of MOGA with
different elements.

Take Up Arms
We have implemented a new system whereby players can obtain weapons &
equipment with the same elemental affinities as their MOGA. They can acquire
these assets either by winning battles or by making trades in the marketplace. If
a player successfully collects a full set of the same element, the matching MOGA
will gain bonus points in attributes.

Class It Up
MOGA belong to one of four classes: warrior, wizard, tank and healer. In addition
to considering a MOGA’s base stats, attacks, combat abilities, elemental affinity,
and equipped gear, players will also need to strategically select MOGA from
complementary classes to form a winning team and emerge victorious from
battle.
 Enhanced Gameplay, 3 Ways

Monster Galaxy *P2E* recognizes that different MOGA tamers will take different

approaches to their tasks. That ’s why the game embraces multiple playstyles by

offering both PvP (Player vs Player) and PvE (Player vs Environment) modes.

Embark on an adventure with Quest Mode

In this story-driven game mode, players will be able to accept and

complete quests without expending energy. That means they can invest

as much time as they want into the game, continuing to play until they ’ve

accomplished all available tasks. As the story progresses, players will

encounter increasingly difficult enemies and will have to capture and

train higher-level MOGA to defeat these powerful opponents.

Hone your skills in Challenge Mode

This complementary game mode invites players to face their fellow MOGA

tamers in battle. Players can accept the level-appropriate match offered

by the game or opt instead to challenge more highly-ranked opponents.

Unlike Quest Mode, Challenge Mode consumes some of the energy that

players are granted each day.

Encounter extraordinary MOGA in Instance Mode

In Instance Mode, Players can encounter rare MOGA. Some of these MOGA

will only be available for a limited period of time. Instance Mode battles

also consume energy.

Although the relationship between gaming and blockchain has rapidly developed
in recent years, it remains a relatively new venture. Players who are unfamiliar
with this emerging technology may wonder why we’ve brought Monster Galaxy
back in this form. Among the many reasons behind the decision to deploy the

Players are enabled to take ownership of the MOGA they love by minting them on
the decentralized blockchain. Once minted, MOGA can never be deleted by the
game developer. Players then have the freedom to sell them on external NFT
marketplaces, display them in their metaverse identity room, or transfer them to
new Monster Galaxy games or any other games that recognise these MOGA. They
can even create their own game using the MOGA they own.

2. Total Transparency
Everything on the blockchain is both transparent and immutable. What this means
is that we, as the game developer, can never mislead players by manipulating the
data in any way. We are prevented from, among other things, issuing more rare
MOGA than claimed or randomly changing metrics for fan favorite MOGA.

Because NFT marketplaces are open and free to access, players have the ability
to easily exchange MOGA, as well as weapons & equipment, with one another in a
matter of seconds, without ever having to worry about fraudulent transactions.

Players can also choose to stake their GGM tokens in order to earn more GGM

choice (90, 180, 360 days) and the longer they stake their tokens, the higher the
bonus they’ll receive.

Take Ownership

The end game is not just to enable our players to profit from playing, but also to
empower our players to become the real owners of the game.

A common practice in the crypto world is for token holders to form DAOs
(decentralized autonomous organization) in order to oversee the crypto projects
they support. This kind of organization allows token holders to hold discussions
in an open forum and then take a vote to decide on the major upgrades and key
functions of their project.

Initially, we would take the lead on determining the direction the game will take,
while incorporating feedback from our community. Eventually, though, once the
game has had time to flourish, all major decisions and changes will ideally be
decided by the community.

Following the announcement of Monster Galaxy’s revival, we’ve received an influx
of inquiries from loyal fans who are eager to return to the land of Sunshire. Many
of these fans wonder whether or not this new game will be free to play. We can
make the assurance that, as with previous games in the MOGA universe, anyone
can enjoy the game without spending any money.

A New Journey Begins

At the start of their new MOGA journey, players will have up to 3 MOGA and 100
starseeds to use in battle. And for every battle they win, players will be able to
earn Galaxy Gems (i.e. $GGM tokens, the currency in the Monster Galaxy P2E
world.) Just by being active in the game for a certain amount of time
(approximately one week), players will be able earn enough $GGM tokens to adopt
the 3 MOGA that will have accompanied them in the game thus far. At that point,
the system would give them the chance to “adopt” these MOGA by spending their
earned $GGM tokens.

A Fateful Decision

If the player agrees to “adopt” their MOGA using $GGM tokens, those MOGA will
then be minted on the blockchain and become real NFT. In this way, the player is
granted real and meaningful ownership of their MOGA. Should the player instead
decline the offer, these starter MOGA will leave their team. At this point, the
player would have to purchase MOGA from the marketplace in order to continue
on in the game.

This system was carefully designed to specifically reward dedicated players

while simultaneously preventing bots and malicious parties from taking unfair
advantage.
