Data Collection Procedure

1. The process that is needed to collect the data is given in the following steps below:

The researcher will use a questionnaire type of survey to gather data from the respondents.

2. The researchers will use the instrument of Likert, the Likert-type scale, and will be

adapted to the study.

3. The researchers will ensure permission from the different Barangay Halls of Bugo,

Canitoan, Kauswagan, and Lumbia to ask for a list of the families that reside in the area

within 5 years from which the samples are to be selected. Furthermore, the permission

of conducting data collection must be asked from the Barangay Officials especially to the

Barangay Captains of the different barangays.

4. The researcher must ask permission from the samples if it is okay for them to be

questioned for the study and show proof from the Barangay’s approval that a survey

can be conducted in the area. If the permission is granted from the respondent, the

survey questionnaires will be given to the selected samples during the daytime and

must be accompanied by a researcher.

5. Each session of questioning, the researcher must accompany them in cases of confusion

in a specific question.

6. Once the respondent finished answering the survey questionnaire, the assigned

researcher must claim back the survey questionnaire right after the respondent

answered it. For this to ensure the high rate of the percentage of survey questionnaires

to be returned to the researchers.
