Sample answer (I got this question at my real test): Many believe that literacy is
more important in present days, while others think that literacy is only essential in the
past. I agree with the former. First and Foremost, the ability to read and write is
important because it will help students enhance critical thinking. Some might argue
that literacy is not essential anymore since technology will replace the necessity of
reading and writing. Moreover, the ability to read and write is beneficial to our future
job. For example, you need to learn how to read and write so you can get into a well-
known university or college and get a good job in the future. To put it in a nutshell,
The ability to read and write has grown more significantly in the recent decade. (125
words)
3. Speaking: describe an image (90 seconds) ~70 seconds
Tips: Firstly, describe the main character in that picture (It might be an animal or a
person) Next, you should describe his or her clothings (using vocabulary listed
above) Last but not least, you have to describe what’s at the background of the
picture and put some of your prediction at the last sentence. (For example, I guess
this picture…….)
