Hot work is work that causes heat and fire that is carried out in areas prone to
fire. The Field Coordinator must ascertain whether the type of work to be
carried out is hot work or not, in coordination with PT. Nusantara Regas is
responsible for the work. Before the recommendation for hot work is issued,
hot work cannot be carried out.
17.2 Excavation and Trenching
Every excavation at a depth of more than 40 cm is required. For excavation
work in areas of dubious facilities and suspected underground facilities
(cables and underground pipes), it must always coordinate with PT.
Nusantara Regas to ensure the suspected condition is safe. Prioritize manual
excavation work before work with heavy equipment is carried out.
Excavations with a depth of 1.5 M more must be given trenching or retaining
against landslides. The mound must also be removed from the edge of the
excavation as far as possible. Easy entry and exit access for workers on

17
excavations of more than 1.5 M must be made and must be provided to
facilitate the excavation process of the survivors.
17.3 Working Near Power Lines (Work Near Power Line)
Work using lifting equipment and cranes (lifting and crane) which is done near
the electricity line (power line), then applies the work procedure which aims to
avoid contact between lifting equipment and krane with electric line cables. All
workers involved in this work must fulfill all the terms and conditions that
apply before the work is done.

activities. Do a stop work authority for work that is close to the danger that
causes fingers and hands to be left out, injured, exposed to chemicals and so
on. Recommended standard PPE must be used, maintained and maintained
properly.
17.6 Buddy system
Buddy system is a system that sees and cares for each other. This system
needs to be applied to jobs that require attention, because often accidents
occur because no one directly reprimands. Like driving away during the
fasting month, buddy systems must be applied so that sleepy drivers can be
reminded. Do a stop work authority if a colleague is known to be close to
danger. Basically, all workers must also pay attention to each other and
remind fellow workers wherever and whenever.
17.7 Danger of slippery floors
Work carried out in slippery areas such as wet floors, there is oil and so must
first do things to eliminate the slippery danger accompanied by providing
slippery signs of danger to users or workers around it. Safety shoes must be
worn while in slippery areas.
